✅Third-person perspective

✅Devs consider Veronica a mainline entry in the series that is as important as RE2 & 4, and also a direct sequel to RE2 and RE3

✅“REV” in the trailer refers to VER in reverse, as the letters were shown in reverse on the trailer, rather than referring to the number “5”

✅Removed "Code" from the title distinguish Capcom's clear vision for this remake, referring to the new elements and going in line with the series naming other entires with one word (Village, Requiem, Biohazard..etc)

✅Plays more like the survival-horror focused Resident Evil 2 (2019) rather than the action-heavy titles

✅Dismemberment and bullet impacts on bodies

✅Story will be reimagined to include elements from later timeline entries, creating a more natural connection to the modern overarching narrative

✅Players will dive deep into the development of Claire Redfield’s character

✅Directors are actively balancing the preservation of the beloved original game with the introduction of fresh ideas for new players
