Some of you make stanship look so heartbreaking and honestly, very disgusting.
Me, for instance, I have stanned several people over the years, and one thing about me is that I know how to choose my favorites. I can cheer you, vote for you, promote you and support you, but I also have people who are very dear to my heart, people I choose to keep in my personal camp and support wholeheartedly.
I have stanned previous winners and supported different personalities, but one thing I have learned is that support should never become a burden, an obligation, or a source of constant frustration. If I am supporting you and along the line, I no longer feel connected to what you represent or see the value I expect from that relationship, I can peacefully step back and move on. No drama, no dragging, no unnecessary announcements.
I simply redirect my energy elsewhere.
What I will never understand is how some of you claim to love and support your favorites, yet you are the same people exposing them to unnecessary criticism, creating embarrassing situations on the timeline, and displaying questionable behavior in their name.
If you are tired of supporting someone, please, you are free to leave. Nobody is forcing you to stay. Walk away peacefully, mind your business and support whoever makes you happy.
You do not have to destroy someone’s image because you no longer wish to support them.
And please, learn to respect boundaries! Your favorite is not your property. You do not own them because you voted, donated money, bought their products, or helped promote their brand. You cannot dictate their every move, impose your opinions on them, or demand that they live according to your personal expectations.
