According to the Nigerian outlet @SaharaReporters, the firm has “only one client” and “zero revenue in 2025.” This assertion comes as a surprise not only to us, but also to the @TheJusticeDept and to our clients.
Here are the facts: Our firm represents foreign governments and international entities, which are monitored under @TheJusticeDept’s FARA. @SaharaReporters cites @OpenSecretsDC as its source for this inaccurate claim. The problem with that is simple: OpenSecrets tracks Senate lobbying disclosures, which are designed for domestic lobbying clients, not foreign principals. Our clients in 2025 are all foreign entities, not local U.S. entities.
So when @SaharaReporters cites
@OpenSecretsDC to support its inaccurate claims, it either reflects a fundamental misunderstanding of U.S. law or a deliberate attempt to mislead the Nigerian public. At best, this is careless reporting. At worst, it is a coordinated narrative designed to distort facts in furtherance of the current #Nigerian government’s political interests. We urge people to read the @SaharaReporters article (link below). It is entertainin and a complete work of fiction.

Between 7:00 PM on April 1st, when @inecnigeria released its statement, and 5:00 PM today, over half a million (500,000) new Nigerians have joined the ADC.
The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors should not have to beg for what has already been agreed upon. The Federal Government signed a deal on the Professional Allowance Table, and now it wants to abandon it. This is not governance; it is betrayal.
Our resident doctors are the last line of defence in hospitals that are already collapsing. They work gruelling hours, in impossible conditions, for pay that insults their sacrifice. And now, the government seeks to take away the little that was promised? The Tinubu administration must demonstrate commitment to the issues: 19 months of unpaid Professional Allowance arrears; promotion arrears gathering dust; a Medical Residency Training Fund stuck in bureaucratic limbo; and a government that treats its doctors as an afterthought and remains unconcerned as they flee the country in droves.
Every doctor Nigeria loses to the UK, Canada, or Saudi Arabia is a failure of leadership, not a failure of patriotism. You cannot ask people to serve a nation that refuses to honour its own word.
I stand with NARD. Pay what you owe. Honour what you signed. Or explain to 200 million Nigerians why their hospitals will go dark on Tuesday. -AA
Wike threatening to shoot Seun Okinbaloye from Channels Television for doing his job as a journalist is irresponsible and unacceptable.
This must be condemned by all lovers of freedom of speech. After destroying opposition parties, they now want to start shooting journalists.
BREAKING
ADC is taking its fight for democracy global.
As part of our efforts to strengthen international engagement, we are establishing a Special Representatives Network across key global capitals to engage foreign governments, amplify credible information about Nigeria’s political environment, and counter one-sided government narratives.
This comes amid growing attacks on our members, attempts to undermine our leadership, and efforts to restrict political participation ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
Our representatives will engage foreign governments, international media, democracy institutions, and the Nigerian diaspora, providing regular briefings on political developments, human rights concerns, and electoral integrity.
We are also launching a National Documentation Initiative to systematically track and report incidents affecting political participation across Nigeria.
From Washington DC to London, Brussels to Addis Ababa, ADC is building a global platform for accountability.
Nigeria’s democracy must be seen, heard, and defended everywhere.
Tinubu in Jos Confirms ‘Don't Vote for Me’ Prediction on Power Supply
During the 2023 campaign, President Tinubu made a clear electoral promise: “If I don’t give you constant electricity in four years, don’t vote for me for a second term.”
When he took office in 2023, Nigeria had a power supply of over 4,000 megawatts and lower tariffs. Today, the electricity power supply is less than 4,000 megawatts on the average, and Nigerians are paying higher tariffs. Nigeria currently has the lowest per capita electricity consumption in the world, with a rate below 30% of the African average. Africa’s average is 617kwh, Nigeria’s is 144 kWh. This means that Nigerians consume least electricity than other Africans.
In a glaring display of disregard for promises and a lack of trust, President Tinubu, during a brief airport stopover to visit grieving families of the Jos attack on Thursday, April 2, 2026, stated that one of the reasons for his 10-minute stay was that the airport had no electricity. “You have no light here I fly out in ten minutes” At a time when Nigerians are enduring days without power, our leaders cannot even stay a few minutes without it.
Now is the time to stop incompetent leaders—those lacking the capacity and compassion—who prioritise their own comfort over the well-being of the people and make empty promises.
A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO
I have served Nigeria for 40 years reforming our institutions and creating prosperity - I cannot remain silent given the actions of the INEC.
Read my statement below ⏬
The hunter you speak of has no jurisdiction in this forest.
ADC is not lost, we are simply not following unlawful whistles.
Besides, don't forget, the forest hides that which hunts the hunter.
This is bullshit. It’s a PERMANENT Voter’s Card.
If I don’t take part in this exercise, what law says I can’t vote?
Someone should take these criminals to court. This will invariably lead to the disenfranchisement of voters! 😡😡😡
The ADC must now hire lobbyist in the US to see that pressure is put on Tinubu to conduct free election.
From all indications they are not planning free election.
After listening to Prof Joash Ojo Amupitan, the INEC Chairman of Nigeria, on Arise TV, Morning Show, on the 3 March 2026, at about 9:30 am, I have come to the inevitable conclusion that the INEC Chairman is not only the most incompetent INEC Chairman in Nigeria history, but he is an irresponsible dishonest person. First, I was shocked to hear from the incompetent Chairman that he learnt about the judgement of the Court of Appeal from the social media. This is a case that INEC is a party to and represented by a Counsel, yet the head of INEC heard about the judgement in the social media. I wish he had even said main media. What an indescribable level of incompetence! What this means is that what we have is a social media chairman who takes decisions based on social media comments rather than pure legal principles. Little wonder the quality of his decisions are at the same level with some social media miscreants and street urchins whose main aim is to attract traffic to their blog rather than making any sense in their scripts...
Please read the subsequent analysis in the next pages
The Nigerian Independent National Electoral Commission (@inecnigeria) has withdrawn recognition of the leadership of the African Democratic Congress (@ADCNig) and suspended all official engagement with the party pending ongoing litigation. This action has effectively frozen Nigeria's main opposition political party at a critical moment as it prepares to compete in the upcoming Nigerian presidential election, raising serious concerns about the opposition's ability to organize and participate fully in the democratic process.
At a time when Nigerians expect free, fair, and credible elections, any development that disrupts political participation, creates institutional uncertainty, or undermines the perceived independence of electoral bodies must be addressed with urgency and transparency. #Nigeria is not only Africa’s largest democracy, but also a critical strategic partner of the United States in regional security, economic stability, and counterterrorism. The integrity of Nigeria’s electoral process is therefore of direct importance to U.S. interests and global stability.
Accordingly, the firm will be presenting its concerns to members of the United States Congress and the @realDonaldTrump Administration to ensure that the importance of free, fair, and transparent democratic processes in Nigeria remains firmly on the international agenda. We call on H.E. Bola Ahmed Tinubu (@officialABAT) to ensure that the conduct and outcome of the upcoming elections are beyond reproach, free from doubt, and fully reflective of the will of the Nigerian people.

This government did not deploy armoured tanks to protect the people of Plateau State earlier this week.
They did not deploy them to confront the bandits that they call “prodigal sons” and “brothers.”
But they deployed tanks at INEC headquarters in Abuja this morning, to protect themselves from peaceful everyday Nigerians.
Show me your priorities, and I will show you who you are.
We reject @inecnigeria’s interpretation of the Court of Appeal ruling.
We knew that INEC was being pressured by a government that has become jittery from the ADC’s rising momentum even in the face of its relentless assault on all opposition parties.
INEC’s press statement is full of contradictions that fly in the face of both facts and reason. We shall clarify these contradictions for all to see. What is clear, however, is that INEC has caved to pressure and has chosen to side with the government against the Nigerian people.
We are currently reviewing our options, and we shall make these known soon.
Meanwhile, we call on our members and all Nigerians to remain steadfast as they await further directives.
Nigeria is rising. ADC is rising.
If any voter ‘revalidation’ was ever required, it should have been conducted immediately after the 2023 general elections, not on the eve of the 2027 general elections.
The ADC therefore calls on @inecnigeria to abandon this plan and reassure Nigerians that no policy will be introduced at this critical time that could disenfranchise MILLIONS of voters or undermine confidence in the electoral process.
