22 years.
I was 21 when Arsenal last won the league.
Today I’m 43.
Through every disappointment and every near miss, one word kept us going:
Believe.
North London Forever.

In the 21st century, only twice has the team who scored the opener in a World Cup semi-final gone on to lose the match.
Those teams were England in 2018, and England in 2026 ❌

🚨BREAKING: William Saliba is expected to undergo surgery to heal his case of chronic back pain.
Arsenal expect the France centre back to be out of action for 4 to 5 months.

Commiserations to Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, Noni Madueke & Eberechi Eze, who have been knocked out of the 2026 World Cup at the semi-final stage, following their 2-1 loss to Argentina. ❌🦁
Rice played 82 minutes, while Saka, Madueke & Eze were unused substitutes. 🏴
🚨Roy Keane BLASTS Thomas Tuchel's Tactical Collapse: "The Moment He Made Those Changes, I Knew England Had Lost the Game!
🗣️ Roy Keane:
England didn't lose because Argentina were the better team they lost because of Thomas Tuchel's tactics. After taking the lead, there was absolutely no reason to abandon what was working and retreat so deep. The substitutions completely changed the momentum of the game. The moment he made those changes, I knew England were in serious trouble.
You cannot spend 30 or 40 minutes inviting pressure against a team of Argentina's quality. They have too much talent, too much composure, and they'll eventually punish you. England stopped pressing, stopped keeping the ball, and handed Argentina complete control of the match.
Great teams don't protect a one-goal lead by sitting on the edge of their own box they go and kill the game. England did the exact opposite, and they paid the ultimate price. For me, Tuchel got it completely wrong.

Thomas Tuchel showed he is no different than Gareth Southgate, the manager he directly criticised with these comments last year.
Where was the excitement & hunger to win it tonight?
🚨 According to FIFA regulations, Argentina SHOULD BE SANCTIONED.
Law 4 (IFAB): Messages or images of a political, religious, or personal nature must not be displayed. If a player shows a shirt, garment, or holds up any item with such messages, the player and/or their team can be sanctioned.
This includes holding up a clear political message regarding the Islas Malvinas (Falkland Islands). 🇦🇷🇫🇰
Argentina players holding up a sign saying ‘The Falklands are Argentine’. Surely @FIFAcom needs to reprimand this? The Falklands have been a British Isle for Hundreds of years before Argentina ever existed.
There is absolutely nothing Argentine about the Island.
Don’t understand why Tuchel took Rice off.
England’s off the ball work nowhere near what it was. Not closing down central shots now. We also diminish Jude’s attacking threat by playing him CM. Poor decision
Argentina players take banner from their fans and bring it onto the pitch, it read: "The Falkland Islands are Argentinian."
The moment happened after the team beat England in the World Cup semi-finals.

2 - There are just two occasions of a team scoring first in the semi-final but not reaching the final of the FIFA World Cup in the 21st century – both of them are England (vs Croatia in 2018 and Argentina in 2026).
Familiar.
Got exactly what we deserved. I genuinely can’t get over what we’ve seen from Tuchel there. This feels so much worse than Croatia, Italy, Spain.
It was right there for England, playing well, leading, great options on the bench and he’s just completing botched it tactically. Thrown the initiative away and gone out in pretty pathetic style.
So disappointing.
