@SecScottBessent@BretBaier@TrumpAccounts@POTUS It’s hard for me to get excited about this when my youngest grandchild missed this by 6 weeks. How can they tout this as some great thing when it’s only 4 years’ worth of children.
@JeremyTate41 If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be.
— Thomas Jefferson, 1816
Ages of the Founding Fathers on July 4, 1776:
James Monroe, 18
Aaron Burr, 20
Alexander Hamilton, 21
James Madison, 25
Thomas Jefferson, 33
John Adams, 40
Age didn't matter. Education did. Classically educated founders built the greatest system of government in human history.
🚨 AWESOME! The North Carolina Legislature has OVERRIDDEN the Democrat governor's veto, forcing a new law to take effect that BLOCKS taxpayer funds from going to illegal aliens in welfare and housing
It also requires state police to cooperate with ICE and help deportations 👏🏻
BIG WIN IN NC! Taxpayer dollars should NEVER have been helping illegals in the first place.
"Senate Bill 153, legislation that in part orders to agencies to ensure any and all beneficiaries of state services can prove citizenship."
🚨Betrayal Alert
@SenRonJohnson , why did you gavel in today instead of demanding Senator Thune cancel recess and bring everyone back to DC to pass the SAVE Act and end birthright citizenship?
Another Senate snake betraying the will of the American people, sitting on his hands while our Republic faces real danger and @POTUS is blocked from making recess appointments.
Patriots, repost and ask Senator Johnson why he continues to obstruct the America First agenda.
Called it.
Sabatini.
Here’s the problem. Under Florida law, you can’t even SERVE this until initial disclosures are done. TOTAL STUNT.
Motion to Strike.
🚨#BREAKING: A man in North Carolina has been arrested after he showed up to a small-town church full of worshippers with TWO FLAMETHROWERS, crossbows, 500 rounds of ammo...
...and a notebook listing the addresses of churches and schools
A church member saw him, sitting in his truck in FULL BODY ARMOR and camouflage and called 911.
An OFF-DUTY police officer, working security at that church, walked straight up to that truck and confronted him.
He told officers he was "law enforcement" there to enforce a smoking violation... but he was NOT law enforcement.
Police say what he actually had in that truck was an arsenal: two flamethrowers, two crossbows, a launcher made to look like a handgun, over 500 rounds of ammunition, knives, duct tape, and police scanners.
They disarmed him without a shot fired.
Every single church needs to have SERIOUS SECURITY, this could have been a complete massacre.
I haven't seen this story reported in any mainstream media, but it looks like this man was about to massacre hundreds of Christians in a church in North Carolina.
🚨 Look at the staggering wealth hoarded by Iran-linked Iraqi politicians, yet people blame Iran’s economic collapse on sanctions.
This is the Iranian people’s money!
The portraits of Ayatollah Sistani, Qassem Soleimani, and Ayatollah Khamenei hanging in the background say everything.
Behind the religious symbolism stand corrupt elites surrounded by mountains of cash and gold. They preach sacrifice, piety, and resistance while enriching themselves at the expense of ordinary people.
@HouseDemocrats
Oh, THIS is rich. The people who BUILT the housing crisis are now clutching their pearls over a one-liner.
Let me set the scene for everyone.
The median age of a first-time homebuyer in America is now 40 years old. In 1950, it was 25. Fifteen years. Gone. You didn't lose that time to greedy landlords or hedge funds or some invisible hand of capitalism you like to scold at press conferences. You lost it to 90 years of CONGRESSIONAL VOTES. YOUR votes. YOUR regulations. YOUR signatures.
Starter homes are not just unaffordable now. In most of this country, they are LITERALLY ILLEGAL TO BUILD. Minimum lot size requirements, single-family-only zoning, environmental review weaponized by NIMBY neighbors who plant "In This House We Believe" signs and then sue to block affordable housing in their own backyard. Your constituents. Your donors.
In 1999, Bill Clinton signed the repeal of the Glass-Steagall provisions that FDR put in place specifically to prevent trading bundled mortgages like stock. FDR understood why that was dangerous. Clinton didn't -- or didn't care. What followed was entirely predictable. And somebody called it. Several somebodies. Congress watched it happen and did nothing. You know what came next. 2008.
Then Biden's Autopen walked into the Oval Office and added 21 percent cumulative inflation in four years. Lumber. Concrete. Steel. Diesel. Every material that goes into building a house. All of it went up. Mortgage rates climbed from 3 percent to over 7. And every homeowner sitting on a 2.75 percent note stopped selling -- because why on earth would they? So inventory froze. The shortage got catastrophically worse.
And your solution? A $25,000 first-time homebuyer subsidy. Which doesn't build a single house. Which increases demand without touching supply. Which gets absorbed immediately by the price increase it causes. Quinn's First Law of Liberalism: "Liberalism always generates the exact opposite of its stated intent." In action. AGAIN.
You are a Jobbernowl caucus holding a press conference about a problem you built, vote by vote, decade by decade, and you have the absolute audacity to point at someone else.
What is next -- you are going to claim you didn't vote for the regulations that made the starter home illegal... wait, I just checked the record. YOU DID.
THAT is what is a slap in the face to the American people.
But what do I know -- I am only a science teacher who explains cause and effect for a living, feeds a family of six on a teacher's salary using the envelope budgeting system, and has watched every single government "fix" for housing make it worse for the students in my classroom who will never be able to afford to own the homes I grew up assuming they could.

Whoever advised Trump to appoint Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court is probably the same person who advised him to choose Susie Wiles as Chief of Staff.
Same person who told him to pick Pam Bondi, and probably the same person who tells him who to endorse.
Truly sad.
The supreme court ruled 5-4 that states can count mail-in ballots received after Election Day, allowing more than a dozen states to keep their mail-in ballot grace periods. This makes the SAVE America Act even more crucial for helping prevent abuses of power and giving states the ability to safeguard their elections. @cullystimson
@LangmanVince Because JD’s primary influence was his grandparents from Appalachian Kentucky. Middletown sometimes called Middletucky, somtimes scornfully but often with affection.
