🚨 UPDATE: 8 people charged in Sex Ring “Underground Bunker” for Paying adults to Rape their Children and Pets — Ages 3-16. Trial delayed as mom pleads guilty and flips on co-defendants
In Bibb County, Alabama, eight suspects ran a sex trafficking ring out of an underground bunker where children as young as 3 were drugged, bound, and raped with adults paying to abuse them.
Animals were also targeted.
Rebecca Brewer and mother of some of the victims, pleaded guilty to sexual torture and nine counts of first-degree kidnapping. As part of the deal she agreed to testify against the other seven defendants.
The trial for the remaining suspects has been delayed while the case expands, including a federal investigation into at least one of them.
These monsters turned their own kids and pets into victims for profit.
How long will it take for every last one of them to face real justice?
Two Black boys running a lemonade stand received an unexpected show of support after someone called 911 on them. Instead of shutting them down, Kansas City police officers and firefighters showed up to support them, helping them earn hundreds of dollars. This is what community should look like! Investing in our youth instead off discouraging their entrepreneurship. ✊🏿
Buttigieg: We didn't know it, but we've all been trusting our lives to the restraint of whoever the president might be. And now we have a president who is completely unrestrained. And so the only answer to that is a functioning Congress.
It turns out we do not have a functioning Congress. The House of Representatives is not representative. One of the most important organs of our democracy is not democratic.
They say, "Oh, no. We're not manipulating the map to disempower black people. We're manipulating the map to disempower Democrats who happen to be black people.”
So, the time has come to make it impossible to manipulate the map for any reason and just have fair maps.
Can’t stop thinking about how Wall Street is celebrating Elon Musk becoming the world’s first trillionaire, while he single handedly eliminated humanitarian aid that will lead to the needless deaths of 4.5 million of the poorest children in the world in the next 4 years.
BREAKING: BRAVO! James Talarico demolishes Ted Cruz for smearing him as not "masculine" enough to win in Texas by listing all of the things that "real men" never do.
And Cruz does every single one of them...
"Ted Cruz basically said he wouldn't use the word 'masculine' to describe you,'" Jen Psaki said to Talarico on MS NOW. "It seems pretty clear what they're trying to do here, at least to me. Not only are they going after you, but they're really trying to attack groups of people you've defended in the past, including trans people and others. What do you make of that?"
In addition to Cruz's pathetic smear, Trump's pet fascist Stephen Miller falsely asserted that Talarico is transgender. Other Republican influencers have implied that he's gay. The strategy here is clear: lean into culture war lies about Talarico rather than contest him on actual policy.
"Yeah, there's been a lot of talk in this race about what it means to be a real man," Talarico said to Psaki. "And recently on the campaign trail, I told the story of my adoptive dad, the man who gave me his last name, the man who raised me as his own."
"Every Saturday morning, Mark Talarico would mow our lawn, whether it was rain or shine, whether he wanted to or not, he insisted on mowing our lawn himself," he continued. "And then without anyone asking him to, he would go next door and mow our neighbor's lawn because our neighbor was elderly, she was a widow. And my dad never talked about it. He just did it."
"Because that's what a man does. A man takes responsibility," he said.
"A man upholds his commitments to his family and his neighbors."
"A man does what's right even when no one is watching."
"And here's what real men don't do... They don't lie and cheat their way through life," he went on. "They don't sell their soul to the highest bidder. They don't steal from other people in order to enrich themselves. And so I've said before, and I will keep saying, that real men serve others."
"Weak men serve themselves," he added. "And so I welcome this debate about what it means to be a man. And I don't think Ken Paxton or Ted Cruz are in a position to tell anybody what a real man is."
Someone should tell Ted Cruz that people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Donald Trump called his wife ugly during the 2016 Republican primary, only for Cruz to go on to become one of Trump's staunchest supporters. There is nothing "masculine" about selling out your own family in pursuit of power.
Similarly, Talarico's disgraced opponent Ken Paxton is the furthest thing from a good man. He was impeached as state attorney general by his own party for bribery, and his wife divorced him for adultery. If that's what a "real man" does, then we need a lot fewer "real men" in government.
Please ❤️ and share if you support James Talarico!
🚨BREAKING: ICE agents kidnapped a U.S. citizen, while he was grabbing coffee, in Maryland.
Samuel Guzmán repeatedly told agents he was born in the United States. He even offered to show his ID… and they didn’t believe him.
Instead, they took his phone, wallet, and keys, shoved him in their car, illegally transported him to another location, questioned him about where he was “really” from, for 2 hours, and refused to let him call anyone.
Then, once they realized he was a U.S. citizen… they let him go without explaining why he was detained.
The Fourth Amendment protects people from unreasonable searches and seizures…. ICE agents dont get to kidnap someone, from a coffee shop parking lot, without reasonable suspicion or probable cause.
The Fifth Amendment guarantees due process…. Holding someone against their will while refusing to tell them why, or denying them access to contact anyone, is a constitutional violation.
And the Equal Protection principles mean the government can’t target people simply because of their race, ethnicity, or the language they speak.
If you’re okay with constitutional rights disappearing the moment someone has the wrong last name, or skin color…
You were never defending law and order.
I told you they were coming for the Roadless Rule.
Yesterday, Republicans made their move — and they hid it inside a wildfire bill.
Here's what makes this so enraging:
59 million acres of America's wildest national forests are now on the table.
The 2001 Roadless Rule has protected nearly 60 million acres across 39 states for 25 years. No logging. No road construction. No drilling. No mining.
Built after 1.6 million Americans showed up — at 430 public hearings nationwide — to demand it.
What lives here: bald eagles, elk, black bears, Cerulean warblers, marbled murrelets. Species that need large, intact, unfragmented habitat to survive. For many of them, roadless forests aren't just home — they're the last places left.
What the amendment does: guts the rule. Opens the backcountry to logging and road construction under the cover of "fire prevention."
The administration is pursuing repeal through the executive branch at the same time. And unlike the original rule — they aren't holding a single public hearing.
1.6 million people showed up to protect these forests.
The administration isn't asking anyone this time.
What do you call a wildfire bill that opens forests instead of protecting them?

A leaked recording shows an Indiana mayor saying only poor people oppose data centers.
Scott Furgeson, the mayor of Shelbyville, Indiana, is facing backlash after a video surfaced showing him discussing residents who oppose a proposed data center project.
"I've seen a lot of these all over the town, but I only see them in sh*tty houses," Furgeson said while referring to anti-data-center signs displayed around the community.
They loved Marjorie Taylor Greene, now they hate her.
They loved Thomas Massie, now they hate him.
They loved Lauren Boebert, now they hate her.
They made fun of Biden for nodding off ("Sleepy Joe), now they ignore Trump outright falling asleep.
They put "I Did That" Biden stickers on high gas prices, now they ignore gas prices being even higher.
They bragged about Trump being the no wars President, now they support war.
They bashed Biden for sending money to Ukraine, now they ignore Trump sending money to both Ukraine and Israel.
They demanded the Epstein files, now they bash anyone asking for the Epstein files.
To be a MAGA is to be a slave.
Not physically, but mentally.
They stand for nothing.
We're up against people who stand for nothing.
And with the most misplaced confidence you've ever seen, they try to tell us whats-what.
We shouldn't even acknowledge these people.
The Trump supporters that remain are mentally too far gone.
I don't even want to argue with them anymore.
@LqLana@FaitsDebbie Fine, but when the time comes to vote again, assuming we’ll be able to, guys like this won’t vote Dem, they’ll either stay home or vote Rep and hold their nose if they really don’t like the candidate.
Rep. @RobertGarcia: Top administration officials are sitting around the Situation Room, planning strategy on how to cover up the Epstein files. They're talking about how to ensure that Trump's name does not appear in the files. Vance suggested that Tucker Carlson interview Ghislaine Maxwell to exonerate Trump. We now know that Vance has been directly involved in this massive cover up
Sixteen of the 27 corporate donors to Trump's ballroom are facing federal enforcement actions or have had such actions suspended by the Trump admin, including major antitrust reviews, labor actions and securities matters. https://t.co/zaF7Ky0aaI
@Rep_Stansbury He’s behaving like polls and public opinion no longer matter. Like he’s got zero intention of leaving the WH and you’d better be planning for that…..the citizens of this country are looking for its representatives to be ready for the inevitable.
Albania has successfully suspended the Kushner luxury resort project on the Sazán coastline after massive public protests and pressure from the EU. Thousands of Albanians took to the streets, armed with inflatable flamingos, to defend their natural heritage. This is a significant moment of resistance against oligarchic influences. What does this mean for the future of similar projects in Europe? #FlamingoRevolution #Albania #Kushner
