I care about privacy exactly for every day payments
Now I can hold ZEC hot or cold, spend it chain/currency agnostic in any currency supported by NEAR to friends or for goods (wallet does this under the hood, but manual is easy too), or use it to top up a card, without ever revealing my balance to anyone (except tax man and occasionally maybe partially an exchange to route to the bank), with fast settlements
I do this, today, for most of my every day spends
Whenever I need to provide KYC related documents, I just pull the data
