@LeiperOttawa@StuntmanStu Unless you scrap the original LRT system & start over, you'll NEVER "fix" it. It was and always will be junk. The city was dupped because ppl making decisions were uninformed and inexperienced. The ppl of Ottawa know you contributed to the predicament they're in now.
@prieurdp The pros far outweigh the cons. If you back into a spot, you are less likely to hit a moving car or pedestrian. When you leave, you won't back into moving traffic. Instead, you exit with clear vision of your path. No brainer. @SmithSystem
@Botanica26@Monica55dzrh The story is probably fake. I see your point now that I put my glasses on π , but even if it is real, you think somebody would have a concrete slab already along the whole property line with clear aggregate separating the properties? Unlikely.
@mchkzn Sad to hear this. Their burnt end eggrolls are to die for. The cook there also works at the Five Star restaurant in Kemptville. I once asked him why they don't offer the same eggrolls in Kemptville. Maybe now they will π
@kittypants Hahaha! It's probably to mark the spot where the broken metal post is sticking up. They should've ground it off flush to the ground, but I guess that's done by a whole other crew. They'll be along in 1-2 weeks π€£
Dear @dunkindonuts , we welcome your venture here, we once had a mighty proud place called Tim Hortonβs β¦simple, fresh donuts, good coffee, gathering place for community.
Then it got lame, corporate and stupid, please bring us the simple qualities we once enjoyed. Good luck.
@canadian_royal1@MadelnCanada Tim Hortons is not Canadian. That ship sailed long ago. The Tim Hortons parent company, RBI is majority-owned by a Brazilian-American company called 3G Capital. So if you've been going to THs, you've been supporting the US all along.
