Final Reflections from my Fight:

When I accepted this fight, I was near the beginning of what has now become a 7 month legal battle with my own company.

For the first few months, I was living in a paranoid, PTSD-driven world. My entire life had changed. Those closest to me, stabbed me in the back. I was caught in an affair... which was subsequently used to publicly humiliate me and my family.

There were several actions that I took that made me appear crazy to people. Accusations that I am a cocaine addict began to show up left and right due to Hit Network falsely accusing me of relapsing on drugs. Notice, Hit Network deleted ALL of those drug accusations from their tweets announcing my removal. It was never true.

Around the beginning of the year, I started to get very serious about training for my fight. I got paid a decent amount of money to fight, but it was never about money - as you guys could tell.

I think of the movie Gladiator. Maximus had everything taken from him. His entire life changed. The only thing he had to fight for was his honor. As he entered the coliseum, he was the underdog. He faced challenger after challenger showing himself victorious.

As he showed his heart and his courage, the people in the coliseum slowly found favor with Maximus. It was nice. But he didn't need it. He was on a mission. He was relentless in pursuit of justice. You could not stop him. Bruised and battered he prevailed. Staring around at the spectators, he asks the famous question: "Are you not entertained?"

Who is Ben Armstrong?

Love him or hate him. He entertains you. Whether it is his bad jokes or all the drama in his life, there is something about Ben Armstrong that draws people to him.

And this is what crypto needs. Someone who can transcend our little crypto niche. I've gone viral on mainstream YouTube. I almost won the World Series of Poker Main Event. I won an epic MMA Fight. I am enough alone for the crypto version of TMZ.

Oh yea, and I've been here about as long as anyone. This is my 12th year in crypto. My track record and longevity speaks for itself.

So why do people hate me? Why do so many people regurgitate lies about me? Why will people not let things from 4 years ago go that I have addressed multiple times?

Training for this fight brought me to a place of centeredness where I have never been before. I now know the answers to all of these questions.

Why do people love me?
A) Because I'm relatable and I have a lot of good qualities. Plus I know crypto.

Why do people hate me?
A) Because I'm brash. I'm blunt. I'm impulsive. I don't think about how what I say affects people because my pursuit of realness tells me it is ok to say what I think at all times. Because I also believe that whatever I have to say is most important. It's more important than whatever anyone says so I speak over people and force my opinions. I stop people from talking to force conversations to go my way. I am too emotional and let that guide my decisions to much.

These are all things I have realized through my training by slowing down, breathing, & listening before I speak. The world isn't out to get me. The main person out to get me was actually me. I had become my own worst enemy. The back stabbing exacerbated this greatly for obvious reasons.

But I can tell you, I am changing all of these things about myself. It was a long battle to find myself & slow my brain down enough to listen. But I hear it all now. And I see it all now.

Cassie aka @duchessofdefi has been here pushing me the entire way. She is the best thing that ever happened to me. I know that is hard for people to see right now, but she is responsible for taking the scales off my eyes and helping me actually see myself.

I beat More Light in a Karate Combat fight. But the real person I took down in that pit with me... was the worst version of me. And I left him down there. The version of me who held his arms victorious at the end of that fight, is a different Ben Armstrong.
