I always get asked for my pictures when I was unsheltered. All are mugshots. I got my data recently. I was unhoused from beginning 2020 to the end of 2022, almost three years. I fell under the category of “Chronic Homelessness” by state data standards.

and in an environment where they don’t have to be in survival mode all the time, where they are also met with people who are patient with them through this process. It is not as easy as giving people a home and expecting them to adapt on their own. It’s not realistic.
