The Currency Killer Part II: Howard Lutnick

In Part I, we saw what Scott Bessent is doing to the dollar. The man who made $3.5 billion crashing the yen for George Soros is now Treasury Secretary, and the dollar has dropped 9% on his watch. He doubled buybacks to $4 billion. He built a $950 billion war chest. He has every tool to strengthen the currency and he is using them to weaken it instead.

But Bessent is not acting alone. When the money leaves the dollar, where does it go?

It goes to Howard Lutnick.

Lutnick's family's firm, Cantor Fitzgerald, custodies $141 billion in Tether reserves. That makes Tether the 17th largest holder of US government debt on earth. Bigger than Germany, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, but it's not a country. Tether is a private crypto company that has been documented financing Hamas, funding North Korea's nuclear program, and enabling Russian sanctions evasion.

It has never been independently audited.

Cantor paid $600 million for a 5% stake in Tether that Forbes now values at $10 billion. When Lutnick divested to take the cabinet job, Tether loaned his children the money to buy the company. His son Brandon launched a $3.6 billion crypto venture backed by $1.5 billion in Tether money. And Lutnick personally shaped the GENIUS Act, the law that made stablecoins the legal alternative to holding dollars.

The three-year grace period that lets Tether avoid direct US supervision was a White House red line and the man who custodies the reserves wrote the rules for the reserves.

Now let's see how the two halves fit together.

Bessent weakens the dollar and Lutnick catches the money when it leaves. Every dollar that moves from the declining currency into stablecoins generates custody fees for the Lutnick family.

And the trade feeds itself.

Weak dollar pushes money into stablecoins --> Stablecoins buy T-bills --> T-bill demand lets Bessent keep yields low --> Low yields let him run more buybacks --> Buybacks weaken the dollar further.

It is a flywheel, and it accelerates on its own.

Trump is the third piece. $1.4 billion in crypto income last year. His stablecoin has a bank charter. He signed the law. He appointed both men. His portfolio goes up every time your purchasing power goes down.

And Lutnick is the man he chose to help pull this off.

Lutnick disclosed roles in 818 corporate entities. He bought a Manhattan townhouse through a chain of Epstein-connected trusts for $10. The property shares a wall with Epstein's mansion. He said he cut ties in 2005. The files show an island visit in 2012, business dealings in 2014, a Clinton fundraiser invite in 2015, and emails in 2018. A photo of him on the island was removed from DOJ files and quietly restored after reporters noticed.

An FBI whistleblower alleged he ran a Ponzi scheme through Cantor and laundered money for the Russian Mafia. Over two dozen database hits, RICO investigations, and no case opened. He pumped Tesla on Fox News the same day Cantor upgraded the stock. His firm collected fees on a $1.6 billion rare earth deal funded by his own Commerce Department.

The White House gave him an ethics waiver. There is nothing ethical about Howard Lutnick.

Warren and Wyden have sent four separate probes. They demanded the Tether loan documents by May 13. That deadline passed three months ago. No response from Lutnick or Tether. The Senate Banking Committee has subpoena power but they have not used it.

Bessent projects $4 trillion in stablecoins. At that scale, you cannot unwind it without crashing the bond market. But I think that is the endgame. Build it so big no future president can take it apart.

It is not there yet. So what can we do?

(1) The CLARITY Act has a Senate vote on September 15. It needs 60 senators. Call yours: [phone]. No crypto deregulation without conflict-of-interest rules.

(2) File a comment on the GENIUS Act regulations at regulations dot gov

(3) File a FOIA with Commerce for Lutnick-Tether communications at FOIA dot gov.

We are at $240 billion. At $1 trillion it becomes very hard to undo, and at $4 trillion it becomes permanent.

1 - Creación de una casta política mediadora.

Este sistema institucionaliza una élite política profesional que actúa como intermediaria entre la ciudadanía y el poder real, que reside en el capital. Dicha casta canaliza el descontento popular, absorbe las críticas y permite que los gobernados perciban una aparente libertad de expresión y participación, sin que ello afecte las estructuras económicas fundamentales.

2 - Legalización de la corrupción mediante el lobismo.

La influencia del capital anglosajón se ejerce a través del lobismo, una práctica perfectamente legal que permite a las grandes corporaciones financiar campañas y condicionar la agenda legislativa. Así, los intereses foráneos penetran en la toma de decisiones sin vulnerar formalmente la ley, subordinando la soberanía nacional a los dictados del mercado.

3 - Fractura social permanente.

La democracia liberal no busca resolver los problemas estructurales, sino gestionar narrativas que favorezcan al capital. Su dinámica polarizante exacerba las divisiones identitarias, ideológicas y culturales, de modo que la sociedad queda irremediablemente partida en dos mitades enfrentadas, lo que impide cualquier consenso duradero y desvía la atención de las verdaderas causas de la desigualdad.

4 - Esterilización de los movimientos revolucionarios.

El ritual electoral periódico otorga a los súbditos una ilusión de soberanía, pero los candidatos son seleccionados en círculos restringidos y respaldados por distintas facciones del capital. Esta farsa participativa neutraliza el descontento popular, canalizándolo hacia vías institucionales inofensivas y descartando cualquier opción transformadora.

5 - Asimilación acelerada de la mano de obra importada.

El sistema necesita flujos constantes de trabajadores baratos para sostener la rentabilidad del capital. La democracia liberal facilita la integración rápida de estos nuevos súbditos, equiparándolos jurídicamente con los nativos, lo que diluye su conciencia de clase y los incorpora dócilmente al engranaje productivo, al tiempo que fragmenta aún más el tejido social.

Insisto, si vivís en un Estado subyugado al proyecto anglosajón de Occidente, NO os interesa una democracia liberal. Va en contra de vuestros intereses.
