the deadline passed.. nothing happened.. he quietly extended it to tuesday.. and now before tuesday even arrives the US is at a table discussing a 45-day ceasefire.. with terms.. with mediators.. with "confidence building measures".. for the country it was promising to turn into rubble three days ago..

and here's the part that should terrify you.. iran's two bargaining chips are the strait of hormuz and their enriched uranium..
and according to axios they won't give up either one for just 45 days of ceasefire.. the country that was supposed to be begging for mercy is now the one setting conditions..
