Feels appropriate to post this with the government consulting a social media ban for under 16’s….
‘The biggest weapon of all’
A poem I wrote a few years back but I’ve struggled to get it published anywhere!
Today I used hot chocolate to model concentration and it worked so much better than orange squash! It really helped students consider how much hot chocolate powder (mass) was added to a fixed volume of hot water!
Who would’ve thought teenagers would get excited by virtual Tassimal stickers @Tassomai ! We’ve even named some staff groups after them. Coxy’s Cobras and Jodie’s Jaguars are my personal favourites. This must deserve Tassimal merch? 👀 🐍 🐆

@Exfizzixteach@hb_history Yes, I’m an expert marker and the marking helps my subject knowledge, even after teaching for 10+ years. What’s the difference between an ‘expert’ and a ‘graduate’ marker?
@Exfizzixteach@hb_history There can’t be anyone out there who does it for the money! It’s great PD and I teach better as a result of it as well as being able to support colleagues in my department with understanding mark schemes.
