@TheShroppieBeek I'm no expert but I've been having decent results in the polytunnel. In the picture here I'd say they're overcrowded, they like company on a local level but they do need space between groups. It's probably just luck tbh, I find the most random things fail even if they're "easy"

@AllotmentPlot54 That's a great plan, my trumpet pitcher plants got their fill last year. Maybe that brand is a different mix but the Klassman stuff I use does still seem to be a suitable breeding ground for the little pests. Watering from underneath with capillary matting helps too I find.

@derektheangler @nickykylegarden @mickkellygrows @FlowerdewBob @ChilliChump Sticky paper traps and watering from below as mentioned by others. I've also kept a trumpet pitcher plant in the propagator which was very effective. Layer of sand on top of any larger pot plants that are affected.

@GardeningWell @mkent9900 The TOG hackerspace in Dublin do free repair cafe events often where they will fix stuff like this. Replacing a usb port should be well within their capabilities, although something like a steam deck might be quite complex to open up. Random phone repair type shops do it too.
