@CRUDEOIL231 The only way to get KRW inflows is if the index rallies but Hynix and Samsung underperform, which is difficult given they are high beta and the primary reason for the equity performance.
@CRUDEOIL231 My understanding is the FX is driven weaker structurally by the equity flows. In risk off, foreigners sell KRW assets. If the index rallies and Hynix/Samsung outperform the other companies then foreign index funds have to sell Hynix and Samsung due to weighting caps. …
@ptuomov It depends if the correlation between bonds and equities is positive, due to a dominance of inflationary concerns, or negative, due to growth concerns.
@WaterworldCapi1 Japan CPI led to JGB selloff which along with oil raising on now concrete Iran progressed pushed up U.S. rates. But equities who knows just Opex / profit taking / degrossing
@jbulltard1 Everything is short supply versus demand, but memory guys increasing prices and margin while NVDA while NVDA doesn’t. They could probably raise prices 30% and get people excited again…
@rev_cap I am equally confused, but one thought is that the Strait is still mostly closed, their leverage grows the longer it is closed. They could be slow playing negotiations asking for maximal outcome. They get the same leverage without being bombed and can play victim if talks fail
@HighyieldHarry I vibe coded a site which aggregates fund performance data, https://t.co/u2NRVAybm7 . See all the fund returns by manager , vintage, etc from public pension disclosures.
@buccocapital@TheStalwart If you have a team of 10 people who spend 80% of their time doing boring automatable stuff and 20% of time doing human facing stuff, then with AI maybe you need 2-3 people doing that human stuff and then they use AI tools to handle the rest. Not 100% job loss but still
@__paleologo Claude Code is the best for coding. Gemini is good for multimodal, images etc but terrible at coding. Both ChatGPT and Gemini are good at technical discussions but you should judge which is better.
@systematicls Not quite a power user but I can say that Gemini 3 is far worse than Claude and codex. It doesn’t follow directions and randomly deletes important code, and it completely failed in dealing with Jupyter notebooks.
