Seventeen years ago, they brought a madman to my church—a crazy, extremely violent fellow.
They chained him, but he snapped the chains right off. They injected him with heavy sedatives, but within two hours, the power of the injection melted away. Finally, nine men had to tie him down and carry him into my church.
I was much younger seventeen years ago, and I heard God speak to me clearly: *"Tell him, by himself, to loose the chain and, by himself, to walk home."*
When I stepped up and said, *"Peter, Jesus says: Stand up, loose your chain!"*—the whole crowd scattered and ran back!
And I declared, *"According to the word of God from my mouth, stand up by yourself, loose your chain, take your shirt, wear it, and go home!"*
That is all I said.
I didn't say it in my own power. I didn't say it in my own name. I heard God say, *"Say it,"* and I said it!
He loosed his own chains, put on his shirt, and went home!
Today, that man holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration! He went to university, got married, and has four children. He has his own car, his wife has her own car, and they are living exceptionally well—all through the power of the spoken word!
No man could chain him. No injection could cure him. But the Word of God healed him!
