All of the above is great fun, but only point 1 matters: @Pumpfun created and posted the meme containing moonkey.

What exists now is a highly active community centered around a killer meme: versatile with mass appeal, and which @Pumpfun invented/published but have so far never explained.

Its provenance is indisputable, they posted it first. The moonkey interns (community) are moonkey & @Pumpfun evangelists and prolific bull posters.

Two things are certain:

1) Even if none of the above were true, @Pumpfun would still be wise to support this. It’s everything they are looking for in a meme. Relentless committed community, fun, appealing, versatile and with compelling lore.

2) It costs pump fun almost nothing to support this. A simple @a1lon9 follow/callout would do the trick. By far the most engaging way for @Pumpfun to support this would be to continue with breadcrumbs etc. Keep the mystery alive, keep people guessing.

Provenance …> Community …> Fun …> Fees

You don’t need to believe the tentative stuff in order to think Moonkey is going to make it.. It just makes sense on its own terms.

NEW $MOONKEY EASTER EGG ALERT 🚨

A new MAJOR clue strengthening the thesis that $MOONKEY was stealth launched by @a1lon9 and @Pumpfun.

Today, September 13, @CupseyToken, the official Pumpfun mascot, posted an image with:

“patience looks like this.”

Now compare that image with the official $MOONKEY post from September 6:

“zoom out.”

The visual resemblance goes far beyond simply featuring a moon.

• Nighttime landscape
• Bright moon positioned in the upper-right area
• Main character placed toward the left / center-left
• Large body of water beneath the moon
• Vertical moonlight reflection across the water
• Dark foreground contrasted with a deep-blue night sky
• Nearly identical visual flow: character → horizon → moon
• Even the captions communicate the same broader idea: perspective, patience, and looking beyond what is immediately in front of you

$MOONKEY:

“zoom out.”

$CUPSEY:

“patience looks like this.”

Same framing.
Same atmosphere.
Same visual hierarchy.
Same moon-focused direction.
Same psychological message.

And when placed alongside everything already documented in the $MOONKEY stealth-launch thesis, this does not feel like background noise.

It fits the pattern. Cleanly.

But there is another element in this image that is extremely important.

the green flame. 🔥

Within the wider thesis, I don’t think the flame should be analyzed in isolation.

Cupsey has already used imagery associated with boiling (simmering as a chef on a previous post) a state produced by increasing heat and energy.

Now we move from heat to ignition.

Scientifically, those concepts belong to the same progression: energy accumulates, temperature rises, and UNDER THE RIGHT CONDITIONS, combustion begins.

And combustion is fundamental to rocket propulsion.

A rocket does not simply “go to the moon.”

First, energy builds.

Then comes ignition.

Then thrust.

Then liftoff.

That makes the caption “patience looks like this” considerably more interesting.

Because visually, Cupsey is sitting beneath the moon while holding a green ignition source.

And within market language, the symbolism becomes even more layered: a vertical green flame naturally evokes the shape and meaning of a green candle, upward movement, expansion, momentum.

Especially when placed alongside the previous green-candle references by Alon already discussed in the thesis.

So the sequence I see is becoming increasingly coherent:

HEAT → IGNITION → LIFTOFF

And the instruction accompanying it?

PATIENCE.

That is why I believe the message hiding in plain sight is becoming clearer:

ZOOM OUT.
BE PATIENT.
LIFTOFF IS COMING.
