I worry about a lot of things. But this line, “You know me by name,” assured me that God is a personal god. He knows me by name, he knows the count of my hair, he knows the desires of my heart… even those I don’t say out loud.

This means that I can count on him. Nobody would pay this much attention to someone for nothing. It’s because he cares. It’s because he loves me. And because he loves me, he wants the best for me. Knowing that, I can throw away my worries and fully trust on his plan for me.

Just before watching the livestream, I thought to myself that I really felt like I was on a dead end. My businesses are failing, I get rejected on freelance jobs, there is no progress on my student permit application.

And so, for the next half of 2021, I am going to believe God for miracles. Nothing is impossible in him. As a song declares, “God will make a way where there seems to be no way.”
