@ijbailey I disagree, this sounds whiny. The response should be:
Your pitch to Texans is, "I may be a corrupt, impeached and indicted disgrace to the State of Texas, but he's a vegan?!?"
Good luck with that, Ken. I'll see you in November!
@NikkiNic9384 Ah, the Stephen A. Smith method of debate...just yell louder.
You didn't address my point. If the player doesn't inform the team, what difference does it make how they operate?
@NikkiNic9384 The problem is that you are glazing over Dart's agency in his decision. He didn't talk to anyone about it *because* he didn't want to be told not to do it.
Your follow-up posts are rationalizations after all of the push back it received. They don't square with your initial post.
@willis_glen I don't understand why this is coming up recently.
Jaylen Brown solves a grand total of *zero* issues the Hawks have right now except, maybe, bringing a little toughness.
...and we're supposed to give up Dyson and Zacc for that?!? GTFOH!
@willis_glen This may not be a popular take, but the Hawks need to go get Mitchell Robinson. This team needs a player with an enforcer type personality to help toughen up this roster.
@putemupcdukes I just listen to the first couple of segments on the rewind, and you are absolutely right.
As an athlete, you gotta be able to say, "you can beat me, but you not gonna punk me". When it goes from competition to disrespect, you go gotta bow up.
@rock_taster@adamscochran Water does not have the same density as crude oil, causing a pressure differential on the cavern walls of the SPR.
If that differential becomes too great (i.e. removing all the oil), the structural integrity of the walls is compromised, up to and including catastrophic failure.
@willis_glen You can't coach fight or resilience. They can be learned through experience, but they can't be taught.
Hopefully last night's game was the beginning of a callous being formed on the will of these young players.
