.@kevin2kelly I'm writing to ask permission to record an audio version of "1,000 True Fans" to share with my students during #eLearning. Would like to release as podcast so students can listen on @spotify#busedu#teacher#covid19 retweet to increase likelihood of this being seen
@WEA39Unite To practice self-care, I make time to attend barre classes at least twice a week and go on family walks with my husband, @MJMacfadden, son, and dog daily!
@BusEdCrev Love starting the year with an email etiquette lesson where the 6th graders analyze the structure and content of sample emails. It naturally leads to the value in problem-solving before sending an email and checking for a response if they send an email with an actual question!
A2: The advantage to teaching ELA... we can incorporate SEL standards into the curriculum. It is amazing to see what 6th graders can analyze from the text! #AIMSNetwork
@hansappel094 Honestly, Iโve got some research to do. I started to follow @geniushour and plan to touch base with my colleague, a 6th Grade science teacher, who worked with our DST to organize it all last year. Stay tuned! ๐
@Mr_ESievert @MJMacfadden I hope to follow along too. I was considering enrolling in a course about implementing mindfulness in the classroom, but I have a feeling your first-hand experiences for middle schoolers would be especially valuable!
Enjoyed this. As teachers, itโs often assumed we will / should say yes to everything... so often, for little to no pay. Valuing ourselves = a must. A โnoโ to one is a simultaneous โyesโ to many others. The 6 Questions I Ask Before I Say 'Yes' to Anything https://t.co/ZpKUJHcmzf
