The Kenyan government has denied reports that Wicknell Chivayo or any company linked to him won a tender related to the project.

It said the company mentioned in media reports did not participate in the bidding process, has no role or involvement in the project, and is not part of any joint venture that submitted bids. The government also said all bidders were required to disclose their partners, and Chivayo’s company was not listed in any of them.

It urged the public to rely on official information and called on the media to correct any false reporting.
