It’s wild that Aaron Swartz was aggressively prosecuted for scraping JSTOR articles.
Meanwhile huge companies routinely scrape the public internet and sell it for $20/month and all is well.
Aaron helped create RSS, Creative Commons, Markdown and a little site called Reddit (which now ironically sells its data to AI companies) - all by the age of 26.
All he wanted was free and open access to information. Really makes you wonder the dent he’d have made on the world if he was still alive today.
I know a lot of liberal voters think democracy is on the line but I think it’s important to point out that “you only have one choice because every other choice leads to dictatorship” is also not democracy
@chydorina I took it for 3 days, it helped my symptoms but I became suicidal and had crazy vivid nightmares. Was able to connect it to montelukast immediately.
@mrsmacbiogal For MTFHR mutation methylfolate helps because it bypasses the enzyme that converts folic acid into methylfolate, and then methylb12 is a cofactor with that in creating methionine from homocysteine. So in essence it can help process the methylb12. That’s why a balance is needed.
@mrsmacbiogal I have that combo, that’s why I figured it out! It’s kind of an experiment. I find I can take methylated folate at the right dose but not methyl b12. But if I’m in a flare up I can’t. I also take antihistamine, vitamin C and Pepcid 2x/day.
