Deze handreiking van de politie is een toonbeeld van staatsarrogantie en autoritaire waanzin. Het document reduceert kritische burgers tot “complotdenkers” en schuift iedereen die fundamentele vragen stelt over overheid, instituties of media schaamteloos op een glijdende schaal richting radicalisering en extremisme. Dat is geen neutrale analyse, dat is regelrechte staatspropaganda.

Wat hier gebeurt is ronduit gevaarlijk: men weigert onderscheid te maken tussen geweldsbereidheid en legitieme kritiek. Burgers die bezwaar maken tegen belastingdruk, zich verzetten tegen centralistische macht of simpelweg kiezen voor zelfbeschikking, worden in hetzelfde verdomhoekje geplaatst als extremisten. Het weigeren van gezagsstructuren wordt weggezet als een bedreiging, terwijl juist de vrijheid om je los te maken van opgelegde structuren de kern van zelfbeschikking ís.

Het document ademt een diep autoritaire reflex: “elke overwinning op de overheid” moet volgens deze handreiking koste wat kost worden gesmoord, omdat de burger anders “bevestigd” zou worden. Met andere woorden: de staat verklaart zichzelf onfeilbaar en bestempelt burgerlijke ongehoorzaamheid als vijandig gedrag. Maar in een vrije samenleving is het juist noodzakelijk dat burgers de overheid kunnen terugfluiten. Macht zonder tegenmacht is pure tirannie.

Het libertaire punt is onweerlegbaar: de staat kan onmogelijk de scheidsrechter zijn over welke ideeën wel of niet toegestaan zijn. Zodra wantrouwen tegenover gezag wordt weggezet als radicalisering, is de deur geopend naar de criminalisering van oppositie en protest. Deze handreiking is geen middel voor veiligheid, maar een wapen tégen vrijheid. Ze verheft de staat tot de waarheid. En wie weigert te buigen, wordt tot extremist verklaard. Dat is geen veiligheid, dat is onderdrukking in haar zuiverste vorm.
