Great to see the the first Tren Maya trains, built by @Alstom, starting commercial operation very soon. The first passengers will be able to board the iconic trains on December 15th. Once completed, @TrenMayaMX will operate on a 1,500 km network on the Yucatan peninsula.

Great news! The Mexican government plans to introduce rail passenger transport on 7 corridors. This is why Mexico needs more efficient state-of-the-art technologies in order to allow passenger trains to operate on existing and currently clearly underutilised rights of way.
