Why do people wait until the last day to file ITR when they know the “great” website built by the “great” Infosys will inevitably crash on that very day?

Still, the last day is meant for filing too, so the site should work, period. If it doesn’t (as today shows), a 1–2 day extension should be given for those affected.

And from next year, the deadline announcement should come with a disclaimer: File early. If you wait till the last few days, our website will collapse under its own greatness, and we won't take responsibility.

My CA told me that he has not gone home and spending sleepless nights in his office since last 3 days because one IT company who took billions of dollars of taxpayers money, to build the income tax portal, has done such shoddy work that the website crashes every hour.

What an irony that we pay tax to fund a portal which does not work when we pay taxes 😀😀

Again the @IncomeTaxIndia portal is not working. Neither their phone lines are working. Have been trying to file it for days now, sent email to the support email ID no response. However they will count every single penny.
I hope my taxes get used to maintain the website

I just had my very first screw up @BLRAirport . Through the security check I misplaced my boarding pass, passport and all documents. Not only officials Inspector Kavitha and Sub Inspector Ravi Ranjan helped with finding them, but also helped me calm down.
