Nobody talks about the personality shift in your 30s where you no longer want to be impressive, you just want to be rested, regulated, and completely unavailable to anything that drains you
@KaneBleek I got multiple old schools and ppl trip off of how. The science behind it is I drive a Toyota I buy with cash everyday. Never had a car payment. Parts and repairs are affordable. I gotta 2011 right now and no desire to upgrade. Then I buy drops, t-tops, impala ss, and such…
I’d love to see it become normal and maybe even have a name for it, to go on nights out with friends/family and nobody uses a phone. Keep one for a real emergency situation, but don’t use it. I bet ppl would have the time of their lives. Forces ya to live. I miss that.
@hotwire405 The real G’s know the one in the brown is the catch. She’s better in all categories. And all that extra stuff comes out with her when you get home, not at the bar…
The reason millennials are so nostalgic is that they got a brief taste of a world that wasn’t entirely controlled by the stupidest people who’ve ever lived.
My phone has been off for 2-3 days now and I haven’t noticed it. I really don’t be too bothered with it. The bank denied the charge for fraud on me and I didn’t catch it. I wish we could go back to without em. I just need that basic internet to research stuff with and I’m good.
It really just makes things real complicated. Take monetary gains out of the picture and you see who really likes who. You don’t have to have a contact to have a life partner. I know plenty of married ppl that I wouldn’t want my life to be like
I love that I grew up in the era of dancing till the lights came on, stumbling out of sticky bars, knowing the DJ, no cameras anywhere. Just vibes and blurry memories. I’d take that over spending my 20s on a phone being socially awkward any day.
@KuNtRySwaG I spend $8.35 one day but it’s only after spending $857 the day b4. If I could make myself watch what I spend for a year strait it prolly change my life. In all seriousness tho, I did tighten up for like 6 months straight and it really did put me in a much more comfortable spot
