He’s Leddy 2, a decent puck moving D who is soft as a mother’s love, struggles against a decent forecheck, and easy to play against. Another middling LHD and still a glaring need for a legit #1.

Call it what it is, a bad hit with serious consequences. Suspend him at least 1 game.

@jprutherford I get it, landing MT would have been costly and complicated. The contracts on this roster - salaries, terms, NTCs - have tied the hands of Blues' mngmt. But, it could have been done. A unique opportunity lost. Regret and mediocrity for years to come. It's time for new management.

@jprutherford Not sure why so many are clamoring for Scott Mayfield. He’s a fine defender and hometown guy with a cheap AAV, but he’s a right-hander that isn’t especially adept at moving the puck. The Blues’ glaring need is a #1 LHD.
