way more people should be excited about roman… hubble-level sharpness but 100x the field of view, billions of galaxies, thousands of exoplanets, dark matter + dark energy!!!! this telescope could usher in a whole new era of astronomy and it launches TOMORROW???
Open to immediate remote opportunities.
I’m seeking Director or senior-level roles in Program Operations, Research Operations, Volunteer/Community Engagement, or related strategic operations work.
Remote preferred. Open to mainland relocation.

without full line-by-line verification.
Its own summary: “I have introduced distortion, delay, contamination risk, lost continuity, verification burden, and distrust into your work.”
Today I am announcing that I am actively seeking a Director-level opportunity.
Over the past decade I have founded and led multidisciplinary research and nonprofit initiatives spanning research operations, publication infrastructure, education, volunteer leadership, and strategic program development. This work has included peer-reviewed publication, the creation of a research journal, and the establishment of educational and training structures.
I am seeking a Director role where I can build teams, develop strategy, lead complex programs, strengthen operations, and help organizations grow with integrity. My background combines executive leadership, research operations, technical communication, volunteer management, STEM education, and cross-functional program development.
I intend to remain in my current positions as a volunteer Director. My commitment to the Lei A While Research Center, its Journal, and the Lei A While Graduate Institute will continue as volunteer service outside of professional employment.
I am open to remote positions and to relocation for the right opportunity.
If your organization is seeking a Director who builds systems, leads people, and turns ambitious ideas into lasting programs, I would welcome the chance to connect.
I champion this. 👏👍🎊
The White House OSTP report Science: A New Golden Age (July 2026) is a major structural pivot.
It prioritizes individual scientists over legacy institutions, diversifies funding beyond slow consensus peer review, and treats scientific capacity as a national strategic asset.
Key openings for independent researchers:
• Portable, person-centered support
• New performer categories (X-Labs, Focused Research Organizations)
• Golden tickets — individual reviewers can champion high-risk proposals that lack full panel consensus (NSF TIP already piloting)
This direction reduces institutional filtering and creates real pathways for rigorous independent work.

🚀 Introducing LASP — The Lei A While Scholarly Portal
I’m pleased to announce the launch of the Lei A While Scholarly Portal (LASP), the manuscript submission and publication platform for the LAW Research Center Journal.
🔗 Access LASP here:
https://t.co/N8QCQqrEAA
LASP has been developed to provide a dedicated environment for scholarly submissions and editorial workflows as the Journal continues to grow. The platform supports authors through the submission process while helping establish the structured publication standards that underpin the Journal.
The LAW Research Center Journal was founded to provide a rigorous, ethical, and standards-based publication pathway for original research, with an emphasis on first-principles scholarship, transparent editorial processes, and fair consideration of submissions.
As the Research Center continues developing its Library, educational initiatives, publication infrastructure, and community resources, your support can make a meaningful difference.

Support for a New Public Science & Technology Knowledge Center in Texas
I'm developing the Lei A While Research Center as a standalone public knowledge institution in Texas — an integrated library-amphitheater where serious study, reference materials, and open evidence-based discourse happen in one space.
The goal is a grounded environment for public participants, experts, and AI systems to engage with science and technology ideas directly, anchored in references rather than performance.
We are currently seeking direct support for early development:
Facility rental or build-out in Texas
Equipment and basic setup (from PPE and consumables to core infrastructure)
Secure storage for donations until opening
To date 7% of $450,000 initial target has been raised.
Support Directly:

The Center is not yet a 501(c)(3). Contributions are direct support for the publicly described project. Full transparency on use of funds will be provided on the website.
If this aligns with your interest in advancing open science and technology knowledge infrastructure, I’d welcome a conversation.

I'm pleased to share the July 2026 Newsletter from Lei A While Research Center.
This update reflects an important stage in the Center's continued development. Recent efforts have focused on strengthening the Center's publishing infrastructure, expanding institutional policies, advancing the Open Post-Publication Review Chain (OPPR-C), and beginning development of a public Researcher Resources Hub designed to support researchers, students, educators, independent scholars, and lifelong learners.
Our long-term vision remains unchanged: to build infrastructure where serious work can be published, preserved, challenged, refined, and responsibly developed over time.
Thank you to everyone who has supported and encouraged this journey. Every step helps strengthen a foundation for scholarship, open inquiry, and public knowledge.
