Open Gym Updates

2028 G @VegaRansomMarks has been working diligently all summer.

Had the opportunity to work with her at Dartmouth elite camp in June.

If you’re in the Chicago area might be a good idea to pop out for one of her open gyms sessions.

A 9-0 start, but the real work is just beginning. This preseason gave us exactly what we needed — tough matchups, competitive possessions, pressure situations, and opportunities to grow together.

The foundation has been built. Now it’s time to see what we’re made of.

OWU: PROFILERX — WATCHLIST

RISING 2031
@kenyaking2031 @MacIrvinGirls
KENYA KING
Class of 2031 | Region 6
5’10” Wing | Mac Irvin Lady Fire

HIGH-POTENTIAL TRAITS

Kenya King enters the ProfilerX Watchlist as a rising 2031 prospect with an early combination of positional size, athletic tools, defensive versatility and competitive-environment validation.

At 5’10”, King has already established a profile worth tracking beyond traditional age-group production. Her early evaluation is less about defining exactly what she will become and more about identifying the traits that could expand as her game, body and competitive responsibilities mature.

SIZE → ATHLETICISM → VERSATILITY → DEVELOPMENT → PROJECTION

MAC IRVIN PROVEN ENVIRONMENT

King’s placement with Mac Irvin Lady Fire matters within the evaluation.

ProfilerX treats environment as developmental evidence, not decoration. Mac Irvin provides King access to an established basketball infrastructure, elevated competition and a setting where prospects are repeatedly tested against players with college-level trajectories.

For a 2031 prospect, that creates an important early signal: King is developing inside an environment capable of accelerating both evaluation and adaptation.

Her current profile points toward a versatile wing/forward evaluation lens. The combination of length, athleticism, rebounding potential, rim pressure and reported multi-positional defensive capability creates several possible pathways to future value.

The question is not simply what position she plays today.

The question is how many functions she can eventually perform.

EARLY RECRUITING SIGNAL

Chicago State — Early Offer

An early college offer does not determine eventual level or projection. It does provide another meaningful discovery signal. Chicago State entering the picture this early indicates that King’s physical tools and developmental potential are already generating college attention.

PROFILERX WATCH

King remains an early-stage evaluation rather than a finished projection.

The verified statistical and film sample is not yet sufficient to establish a firm collegiate projection band. That distinction matters.

But ProfilerX does not require a completed projection to identify emerging value.

King has enough early signals to warrant continued tracking:

Rising 2031.
Region 6.
High-potential physical and positional traits.
Mac Irvin proven environment.
Early Chicago State offer.

The profile is still developing.

The signal is already visible.

Another tournament. Another opportunity to get better. 🏀🔥
