MacJams

The goings-on at

[MacJams @macjams]

Mail queue up and running. Looks like there were some really old ones stuck in there. Sorry about that.

[MacJams @macjams]

A few minor things to address. I need to run out for an hour. Please send feedback if you encounter issues (likely song uploads). -Cheers!

[MacJams @macjams]

We're almost finished. There are some DNS items left to update.

[MacJams @macjams]

Server upgrade in progress. So far, all data has been migrated to our new server. Databases set-up. Hoping to have MJ back up by midnight.

[MacJams @macjams]

Massive speed and stability improvements just implemented on MacJams. Site should have 10x faster page loads. More improvements coming...

[MacJams @macjams]

Migration complete. Everything seems to be intact. Let me know if you find anomalies. Cheers!

[MacJams @macjams]

Almost done. Few more minutes. Site is running, just need to get the song directories aligned.

[MacJams @macjams]

MacJams will be offline for an hour today (10 am PDT) as we transition to our new Seattle datacenter. Will tweet when we're all settled in!

[MacJams @macjams]

Moving MacJams from Houston datacenter to Seattle datacenter! Site may be slow today while data is transferring.

Added indicators in MacJams mailbox showing whether you are in the Inbox, Archive, or Sent Messages. http://t.co/jfwCpged

[MacJams @macjams]

Added "last song upload" to Bookmarked Artists http://t.co/2qhF04Hd

[MacJams @macjams]

Finally cleared through the backlog of song submission approvals. I'll be addressing file upload errors and account prefs tomorrow.

[MacJams @macjams]

Site is up and running. Song upload/edit & account sign-up/edit are currently offline, but should be back up soon. Please report any issues.

[MacJams @macjams]

Server move is taking longer than expected, but should be up shortly. Thanks for your patience

[MacJams @macjams]

We are upgrading servers today. Please be patient and look for updates on our progress. Thanks!

[MacJams @macjams]

Moved most site images over to img.macjams.com and added expire times to allow better browser caching and faster page loads.

If you mention broccoli in your tweet, you'll get a reply from a twit who's profile picture has hair that looks like a head of broccoli!

[MacJams @macjams]

Testing an updated song profile layout. More focused on song info and related content. FYI, most section headings can by clicked to shrink.

[MacJams @macjams]

Song Profile page update: More important info is bigger and comes sooner. Less important info now in right column.
