Wow so he has a bachelor's of science degree, worked with nuclear waste, researched welding, and an organization hired him based on his background and experience as an associate nuclear scientist, wow good job you proved he was a nuclear scientist. Even grok said he was when you tried to prove otherwise lol. I'm done here.
And he has a B.S. in a science field as required and has demonstrated relevant work if grok is to be believed. Professional fields require acknowledgement from a governing board. That has nothing to do with a job posting requirements. Now if he said he was a professionally licensed nuclear engineer then yes he would be lying. You are acting like being a scientist is a professionally licensed field, that is not true.
@MAGAMike2d@grok@mattvanswol@ringframe Again, I was an associate engineer at one job. It's not a standard job title across the industry. It was the title that company used for engineers below seniors. Didn't mean we weren't engineers.
@MAGAMike2d@grok@mattvanswol@ringframe@grok do you legally need a degree in "nuclear science" to work as a nuclear science? Is there some sort of legal requirement such as civil engineers that need to be professionally licensed and get an education from an abet certified college?
If his employer hired him as a nuclear scientist and he did that work he is. If I became a successful cartoonist am I not a cartoonist because I didn't go to art school or get a degree? You have a very elitist point of view that seems to think a piece of paper degree matters more than his work experience where his employer hired him as a nuclear scientist (allegedly, I didn't know his background before).
@MAGAMike2d@grok@mattvanswol@ringframe Why do you think associate nuclear scientist means not a nuclear scientist? I worked as an associate engineer as a professionally licensed engineer. I was and am 100% an engineer even when engineer was preceded with associate, or project, or senior etc.
