I don’t think people understand what this means. These people could be married to other United States citizens. Or may be married to active duty troops serving in other countries. People who may be helping others in the medical field. Like doctors and nurses. Most likely tens of thousands of people working in Silicon Valley right now for Apple, GOOGLE and Meta. I don’t get what’s happening in this country right now. I mean seriously, WTF?
You have to choose.
You can have ChatGPT, or you can have water.
You can have Claude, or you can have clean soil.
You can have Grok, or you can have a survivable future.
You cannot have both.
A cena é do episódio 19 "Silent All These Years" da 15° temporada de Greys Anatomy.
so grateful to have grown up in this era. learning about different cultures and how they’re all beautiful and make the world a better, more interesting place to live. instead of the divisiveness & nationalism they’re pushing these days
TODAY: Hundreds of thousands in Minnesota braved -10°F weather to march through downtown Minneapolis as part of the statewide general strike demanding ICE out of the Twin Cities.
As an American citizen it is intensely offensive to me that we would spend this kind of money on Greenland when we don’t have universal healthcare, mandatory maternity leave, good public schools or any sort of social services.
Yup. Hes up to 11 pounds. They have to transfer him to another hospital for because the current hospital he’s at cannot meet his complex needs. The family is 100% responsible for the cost even tho the state forced them to keep that poor woman “alive” as a human incubator.
No news outlet is covering this, you know why? Because the fucking experiment on a black woman’s body has FAILED miserably. The only updates are from grandma’s go fund me. They let that woman die for a clump of cells (she was only 9 weeks pregnant at the time) that’s not even doing ok 6 months later. 6 months is a long time to be in nicu!
Adriana Smith is her name. I am so sorry the state did this to you. You were a 30 year old nurse with a kid who was already here who needed you. The state failed you, the very hospital that you worked at who was so supposed to help you failed you…everybody failed you.
People are going to die en masse. It is a scientific certainty.
The entire makeup of this country in population and socioeconomic development was shaped by infectious diseases spreading through our country. Schools were founded to fight them. Towns were created out west as doctors prescribed patients to the desert climate to heal from some diseases. Wars were won and lost b/c of our control of disease spread.
The hubris and delusion of a few are going to kill scores of people.
I don’t know who needs to hear this but the CDC is being eviscerated right now. America is not going to have any kind of outbreak response capacity after tonight. Americans’ health data is no longer secure. Say goodbye to federal public health in any capacity.
The “problem” with vaccines? They so effective at preventing deaths that they create generations of people that question whether disease was a problem in the first place because they have never experienced the horrors of a world without vaccines.
This is nothing less than the most important federal government resignation letter in history, written in opposition to Trump-Kennedy policy that “will result in death and disability of vulnerable children and adults.”
