I haven’t done all star cheer in 3 years but I still LIVE for pretending I’m at worlds through cheer twitter (PS. Good luck to the incredibly talented PCT teams I’m rooting for you and stalking y’all the most <3)
Your first question seemed very condescending and I have been seeing a bunch of stuff like that on my timeline. If I was wrong that’s my bad but your making it seem like Canadian teams aren’t talented enough to be in senior divisions and I was just proving that they very much are
I don’t cheer anymore, but this international team slander is ridiculous. My Canadian Senior 5 team made finals twice (yes this was the divisions with SSX, Generals, etc.) and while we didn’t win, we were competitors. Do your research.
@ledc I have heard many gyms have had to do this again. I did it last year and know its really hard to stay motivated, but it will get better, and I hope she’s doing okay with all this crazyness!❤️
I’m not cheering this year but im so heartbroken for Canadian teams right now. Having to see American teams showcasing/competing (half the time with no masks) has got to be so hard with the constant restrictions being put on Canadian cheerleading. My heart goes out to you all❤️
Today would have been my last face offs and I am realizing how much I take for granted. After going to face offs for 5 years I forgot about how much of a privilege it is to be invited to the event, and now I would literally do anything to be in that crazy practice gym right now.
being a senior and knowing this could be my last season of cheer has made the last couple of days pretty hard with so much uncertainty with worlds. But I am never one to be negative so I made a quick video summing up my last 8 years of cheer just to show how thankful I am ❤️
@mackenziehodson A beautiful reflection on the last few years. I know this whole thing is lousy - but you are doing your part for the health of the world. Be proud of all you have accomplished! And will continue to accomplish! So grateful to have you as Emma’s coach this year! 💗
@Lauraldawn@pctcobras That is such a funny story it makes me so happy you guys put so much effort into being able to watch it’s really means a lot to me!
This hardest lesson I learned this weekend was how much it can break your heart learning your potential and not quite being able to show it. This weekend at NCA has taught me so much and I will come back a stronger athlete from it and that is something I am promising myself.
