@StanCollymore Failure to move the ball quickly, too passive and safe in possession. Not enough 3rd man runs. Quality of balls in the box sadly lacking.
We rarely looked troubled and maintained shape almost all the time
Left side did not work at all and would change that on Sat
@LastWordOnSpurs@RickySacks First half was ok, nothing spectacular, but going ahead seemed to really unsettle the team. Must be because we aren’t used to it this season!
@Footballtweet Can’t see it. We have been woeful at home and, although De Zerbi is working his magic, Leeds have been excellent for a fair while and will bring that confidence tonight.
Hoping for the best but fully expect the worst, the life of a Spurs fan!
Everton turning it on tonight yet they rolled over and had their tummies tickled against West Ham.
Corruption, pure and simple.
That’s the social media narrative of the modern football age, isn’t it? 😂
@LastWordOnSpurs How many times do they say “he can’t win the ball there so why try to go through the back of him” yet, in this instance he does exactly that!
According to the ref in our NLD a two handed push in the back will always be a foul.
@GingermunkyBen@jamiecblagden@SpursOfficial Scriv, whilst I would have loved Eze at Spurs it does make me laugh that you let him go at 13 and paid £67.5m for him 14 years later!
@footballtweet@Matt_Law_DT I love how our media are so keen to give an advantage to the opposition.
Why not just reveal our set piece routines at the same time!
@1MickyHazard Both would have been great to come off the bench tonight and unlock their backline. Maddison did exactly that against Bosnia. Baffles me that Gallagher got in ahead of either one.
@StanCollymore If you play without tempo and give the opposition time on the ball you’ll always struggle. The lack of offensive intent and quality was alarming. The ease at which Iceland got around the back of our defence at times is a real concern.
@AlasdairGold I think this is sound business, Werner did OK for us and offers pace down a flank. Also worth remembering that he was injured at the end of the season and therefore a loan with a commitment to buy is probably a better idea for the club.
@StanCollymore Always want my team to win Stan and tonight is no different. We beat City last season to help AFC go well clear (still didn’t stop them coming 2nd in a 1 horse race). However, a defeat tonight won’t be as much of a disappointment as it usually is. It feels strange!
