I see a lot of game devs on this platform disparaging fans.
They almost resent their fans.
It’s bizarre.
I work in the games industry and absolutely love the fans.
The commentary is insightful, memes are hilarious, and passion unrelenting.
I appreciate every one of you.
Thanks.
Clavicular was mid jestergooning when a group of Foids came and spiked his Cortisol levels 😭
Is Ignoring the Foids while munting and mogging Moids more useful then SMV chadfishing in the club?
As a married 38 year old father, I’m beginning to think that maybe I’m not handsome enough and I should be spending more time hitting my face with a hammer.
I’ve seen a few of these so, I’ll join the trend.

Curious why ANYBODY thought the Gen6 would be more than just a few small upgrades…
Why would you expect any different?
I don’t hate it but, stop acting surprised/letdown.
@omwgamestudio A quiet village.
Absolutely nothing out of the ordinary.
The local cook is trying to perfect a mushroom dish.
They very rarely get wolf attacks, but local villagers help keep the townsfolk safe.
One of the locals steals the jewelry from homes at night.
Mundane, relatable stuff.
We turned my AI art concept into a video game. Yes, it took real work and real artists to get here but AI can be a powerful tool for conceptualizing ideas for devs and non-artists, especially for indies with not a lot of resources to hire an artist.

Just because we're not able to draw does not mean we can't create things.
The coolest thing devs do that should be mimicked by others are never seen by the end user.
It’s all naming conventions, file/folder formatting, and pipelines.
The stuff I’ve been the most blown away by are unsung team practices and smart leadership.
@RVL1389@Dexerto Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare had a laser gun (the em1) that did this.
Back then, most players were on console so it didn’t matter.
It was quickly fixed after a bit of community uproar but, before that - it was a temporary META on pc.
@KahliefAdams I’m in the industry.
I understand “how things work”.
I agree.
Game dev and industry discourse needs less people outside of it being the loudest voices.
