@jullerino@t3dotcodes looks great! is it easy to pick which PR i want to click into from the sidebar now on a multi PR thread? that bit has felt awkward in the nightly for some time
@ggsimm@maria_rcks sure but i guess what im really after is more of a demo — the core concepts and thought process and what makes it better, etc. guess that’ll probably be a future theo video though
finally started using the stash feature in @t3dotcodes and wow… i should’ve integrated this into my workflow a long time ago. it’s so nice especially with the screenshots and citations being preserved
a few things that i’m happy to help with:
- copy should preserve formatting better, especially in swiftui. i have a big PR open for that one but also want to expand it to the electron app. imo, the copy button and the select & cmd-C need to be 1:1
- remote machine harness update should not be something i need to do manually
- some misc swiftui things but the major one to me is resyncing when i open a thread. feels frequently busted
- why is context gauge marked legacy?
personally i think we’re nearly at diminishing returns for more intelligence in these models and we really need the smart people to be focusing on the compute problem. relaxing a bit on training would also give back some compute to actual users sooo… i’m not sure this is all bad.
@theo kinda curious, for my own understanding, what the motivation was behind disabling the context indicator behind a legacy flag. i’m sure you have a good reason but this feels like an odd choice to me. do you really not pay attention to context consumption directly?
