@SteveRyanCP24 They’re not called “casings.” Or “shell casings.” They are CARTRIDGE CASES. Firearms load cartridges; when fired the bullet goes down the barrel and cartridge case is ejected. Exception is shotguns which use shells and eject shot shells. Read the CFS nomenclature guide on this!

When are governments and courts going to do the math and realize that the system is broken and the rights of criminals far outweigh the rights of citizens (and cops). Then throw in the staffing shortages in a number of police services including the OPP and do the math again.

These are the faces of the pathetic losers that infest our communities in the age of meth and fentanyl. Losers typically with many many criminal convictions, continually passing through the revolving door of our inept justice system, rarely incarcerated and never “rehabilitated.”

Criminals and losers are given more handouts and resources but never enough to change their ways while facing fewer consequences for their harmful actions. Mental health is a related issue and a crisis on its own that is equally unchecked leaving society to deal with the fallout.
