With all the chaos at the tail end of last year, I almost forgot about this big W for me!
One of my short stories got published in an anthology! If you're still in the mood for some holiday romance, check out @8letters_books' SILVER BELLS & NOSTALGIC LOVERS!
As a theater nerd, one of my frustrations was always not being able to watch musicals/plays live bc of various constraints (financial, schedule, etc.). I couldn’t have picked a better prod to start off ‘that’ list. Cheers to the cast and staff of Carousel! You were superb.
Just arrived at the airport from an overseas trip. No coupon taxis, no metered taxis, no Grab. Wala rin tayong mga bus at tren dito. Basically kung wala kang sundo, you’re dead. It’s been an hour and counting. This is what a broken transpo system looks like 💀
Here is an excerpt of @anakarylle singing “If I Loved You” from @repphils’ upcoming production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel. You can watch more excerpts on https://t.co/619J5N14ap soon! The show opens on November 26 at the new CCP Black Box Theater. #CarouselREP2022
Wish I could go back in time and pick this up. Wish I could go back in time and make you win. 😭✊

There are also many more self-publishers and independent publishers. My opinion is just there are far more options for both Pinoy readers and writers, for whatever they want to read and write. This is good.
Unlike previous years the major 2 bookstores did not take space at MIBF and the library-filler/booksale book companies also were fewer. So it's more emphasized that there are SO MANY purely Pinoy books of so many kinds and genres.
This is great, okay.
