@dennisdoddcbs @SEC @bigten The problem with "xx best" formats is bias, because selection based on polls and committees has inherent human bias. SEC and B10 like "xx best" because the bias favors them. Conference champions come out on top because they play games and win them. They're needed in any plan.

Snapshot of the camera while we filmed "Doughnut Mafia" last week. A short #indiefilm. No picket lines crossed. My acting debut for a friend who needed a couple of goons. I said, I can play a goon. Was lots of fun. But 7 hours later I was like hey this is actual work. I was beat.

Read the draft of my latest #fiction short story "A Child's Christmas in Xenith" to a small group of writer friends tonight. Got the strong response I was looking for. It's a prequel of sorts to my 1st novel, Winter Solstice. So good to get that story out of my head and on paper.

Carson Field has been #Bearcats home turf since 1901. 122 years. The stadium was constructed around the gridiron, which is hallowed ground. 100 years ago Jimmy Nippert was mortally wounded on that field. There have been more talented players, but he gave his life.

108 years ago, construction began on stadium seating to surround Carson Field — now known as Nippert Stadium — on the campus of the University of Cincinnati.

Nippert is the oldest stadium in the Big 12, and one of the oldest in the country.
