@nhlpens As a Leafs fan, I can understand why he bailed. Was carjacked in the city, reportedly had his address leaked publicly while he had a 1 month old baby at home. Think this behavior is more prominent around the "fans" that gambling has brought to the game.
@NebirosVT@gulbaru@TRIGGERHAPPYV1 Arkansas is one of the few states that allows PIT maneuvers over the 35-50 mph range, as most agencies consider it use of deadly/lethal force beyond that speed. So yes, he is hitting that car knowing full well that death is a very likely outcome.
@LicensePlateGuy The fact that neither Styles nor Downs had top 30 visits should have been a tip off to fans that they weren't going to be targets. Schoen's 1st round picks have had top 30s with Dart and Mauigoa the exceptions as pivots. 6 of 7 picks last year were top 30 visits as well.
@JoeSchoenMVP Agree. If those two are there at 5 and 10, they will be Giants after Thursday. No top 30 for Styles or Downs, which has been a Joe Schoen requirement for 1st round picks to date.
@MONTECRI5TO Another "we have a walk away price" moment for Schoen. Apparently Dex's agent refused to talk to Schoen so they had to bring in Aponte and Chris Mara but Dex was already checked out by that point. He alluded to the Giants not valuing him and seeing how others were shown the door.
@DoersDo4Ever@NYPost_Schwartz@BobbySkinner_ Harbaugh had a 340 LB NT in Travis Jones in Baltimore. Dennard Wilson had 360 LB NT D'Vondre Sweat in Tennessee having teams pay the "Sweat Tax". Giants largest DL right now is Darius Alexander at 310 LBs. Burns & Carter are going to see significantly more double teams.
@SpartanMike96 I'm not so sure your first two picks are long shots. I for one wouldn't be surprised if that's what we walk away from the 1st round with. The signs of its potential are there.
@clt_ny No dead money lost on Dex. The trade opens up $20M in cap plus the 10 pick. Not having a reliable DT and the hearing we could spend the # 10 on Tyson doesn’t leave me feeling optimistic. Year 1 moves seem a bit scattershot so far.
@MrBaddog7676 This just feels like an awkward laugh at the notion that firing Bowen was somehow going to change things. That the rot came from further up.
@MONTECRI5TO@Connor__Malloy@Giants Technically transferring as they started the process in 2023 as part of succession planning. I would imagine another family member steps up as the figurehead at some point, possibly Carolyn Tisch Blodgett who is Gotham FC’s owner and Tisch family ownership group consultant.
Center (C) Pressure Rate (%):

@nickfalato@Giantsfan014@Giants Not sure anything can be done in the current structure. John and Steve are the public fronts of familial ownership groups/trusts. Those familial entities are represented on the board by 3 members of each family. The Koch family owns 10% of the team but have no voting share.
@MONTECRI5TO Went to the rule book and think you may be right. It only differentiate between HC and assistant coaches. Role promotion only dictates if the club have to agree or not. Once permission is granted it can’t be selective, but they can place a time limit on their voluntary approval.
Just catching up. Obviously the Giants should be all over this. But can’t see the Eagles being accommodating. And note that the Giants can’t offer a promotion with HC and OC filled. Any other title (run game coordinator, assistant head coach, etc) don’t qualify as a promotion and therefore aren’t a loophole to prevent a team from blocking.
Dawn Aponte, you may have your first major negotiation…
@MONTECRI5TO Yep, but still a coordinator role. The Giants weren’t obligated to grant Graham an interview for the other DC role because it wasn’t a promotion, but because they did they couldn’t deny him elsewhere even though it was a lateral move. Mistake on their part.
