@oshaymoishe1 You should be angry, we all should. The Tory govt have sold us all out for personal gain; as far as I can tell the aim is maximum damage to the country at *any* cost (though not to themselves).
It seems like this is all we can do from here (or rise up).

@n3fnbillgittens @Hessodaft @devisridhar We do, whichever for we take. "Open up the schools without data" is more risky though. Anyway. 48 hours without Twitter starting now.
From Monday 9am I’m off @Twitter for 48 hours to protest against their inaction on anti-Jewish racism.
I’m horrified at the abuse Jewish people suffer on here and I want to do something about it.

Boris Johnson has just said the people are his boss. More than a million of us signed a petition demanding he sack Dominic Cummings. Now is the time to remind him to do it. RT if you still #WantDomGone
@redche666@derekjames150 The rules (rightly or wrongly) say face covering, rather than mask, so a scarf or similar will do (even if it's not necessarily effective).
@Hessodaft @n3fnbillgittens@devisridhar Excess deaths from other causes are mostly going to be substantially lower due to people staying in. Fewer traffic accidents for example.
It doesn't mean covid is handled.
If it gets further out if control it will quickly increase beyond that.
So... 2 weeks notice that face coverings will be mandatory, but twenty four hours notice that people returning from Spain will be quarantined for 2 weeks.
Please could someone explain?
@SallyAnnely@PamillaBAV1 They're both measures to control covid, they both require time to prepare. One requires getting a scarf or bandana or mask, the other prevents you working for two weeks if you can't work from home.
Why does the more effective and cheaper get more warning?
From what I can tell, masks are here to stay for quite a while, so shouldn't we all make the best of it? There are amazing masks out there, almost like fashion items, if we have to wear them, why can't they be fun and self-expression?
We are allowed to be very angry about this 🤬

Had a customer yesterday tell me out of the blue that I shouldn’t run a pub because it’s a ‘blokes job’.. “how can you have a ‘landlord’ that’s a young girl?” (Word for word). Today I’ve got my sparkly socks and pink hairband on so I can look extra girly whilst smashing my job 💪🏼
