Guys I am PISSED at the absolute slander our First Family is going through for the sake of political gain and scoring clicks.
President Biden has been in public life for 50+ years and prior to running for president, he was regarded as nothing but a good and decent family man, by Democrats and Republicans alike. Now he is supposedly some soulless head of a crime family? I don't think so.
The truth is, he is a good man and the Biden family is a good family who has endured more pain than most of us can even imagine.
@POTUS and @FLOTUS have had our backs. Let's make sure we have theirs as these vicious attacks ramp up! 🇺🇸
President Biden loves his son, Hunter, dearly.
You could hear it clearly in the message he left for his son while he was in the terrible grips of addiction. “It’s Dad. I called to tell you I love you. I love you more than the whole world, pal. You gotta get some help. I know you don’t know what to do. I don’t either.”
As a Dad, I know he had to be hurting, powerless to help his son climb out of that dark hole.
As a Dad, I know if has to be painful for him to bear with the millions of people clamoring to maliciously smear his son, who is still on the road to recovery from addiction.
As a Dad, I know that it had to be difficult to step aside and allow the Justice Department to appoint a special counsel to investigate his son.
Because you know what? If it were one of MY sons, I don't know that I'd have the intestinal fortitude to do that. ME PERSONALLY. But then again, I'm not the President, nor do I have any desire to be.
But that had to be hard as hell, knowing that it will give the right wing yet another talking point about his son, regardless of how empty and desperate the GOP's smear tactics may seem. You want to protect your kids from that, if it's in your power.
I know Donald Trump wouldn't do that... shit, Ivanka had those 18 Chinese trademarks approved because of her Dad. Did he approve an investigation into that? Hell no.
What about his son-in-law, Jared Kushner? Jared wasn't qualified for a job in the White House, couldn't even correctly complete a security clearance form, and yet Trump put him in there so he could soak up all of those million and billion dollar deals. Investigate him? Hell no.
Come to think of it, the ONLY person Trump approved an investigation into was... HUNTER BIDEN. And what did President Biden do when he took office? Did he defund the investigation? Did he try to derail it?
No. He allowed it to run its course.
So I'm a little pissed that Hunter Biden is being investigated. Talk about weaponization of government? It's been weaponized against him, to hurt his Dad.
But I am confident that, when the investigation is done, if Hunter is guilty, he will pay the consequences.
But it will NOT change my decision to vote to re-elect President Biden, who is a good Dad, a kind human being, and one of the best Presidents we have had in a long time.
One of these Governors signed a bill to provide universal school meals for the state and the other signed a bill to encourage child labor. Look at the kids, they tell a story.
Instead of addressing the crisis of gun violence in our schools, extremists are spending their time trying to prevent students from learning our full history.
Every Republican member of Congress voted against the Inflation Reduction Act.
That hasn’t stopped them from claiming credit now that billions of dollars and thousands of jobs are coming home.
That's alright: Bidenomics works for all of America.
You cannot claim to be a martyr while at the same time:
- demand the indefinite postponement of a trial by jury
- threaten witnesses and officers of the court
- push your GOP lackeys to run political interference
Pick a lane.
Notwithstanding all of the Republican sound and fury signifying nothing, DOJ didn’t rush to investigate or to judgment when it examined the serious and credible allegations of criminal wrongdoing by Donald Trump.
On the contrary, DOJ acted with great caution. Here I break it down:
BREAKING: Rep. Eric Swalwell just destroyed Jim Jordan's attacks on FBI Director Wray after Jordan continued to claim that Wray was weaponizing the DOJ:
"Director, I think it's quite rich that the guy who accused you of lawlessness and weaponization is 400 days into violation of his own Congressional subpoena over January 6th. Quite rich to me that you are hearing all of these allegations from somebody who won't even respond to a lawful subpoena.
Thoughts?
The extreme SCOTUS majority overturned Roe.
Ignored past court decisions upholding affirmative action.
And manufactured jurisdiction to target the LGBTQ+ community.
They don’t respect judicial precedent.
But they want America to respect their credibility?
Get lost.
