The biggest skill you can develop is the ability to reset fast. Bad conversation? Move on. Bad day? Start fresh tomorrow. Missed workout? Hit it the next day. Poor decision? Learn and adjust. You can’t control what happens to you, but you control how long you let it affect you.
True Patriots fans still will love our team regardless of tonight’s outcome. We went from 3-14 to 17-3 and to the SUPER BOWL. I am so proud of these guys.
This is the truth about Drake Maye:
• He won 17 games in his second season, in a year where his preseason win total was 8.5.
• He took his team to the Super Bowl in Year 2.
• He finished 2nd in MVP voting, again, in his second season.
Season review:
• 4,394 passing yards
• 31 passing TDs
• 8 INTs
• 113.5 passer rating
Did he have the most outstanding performance against the best defense in football in the Super Bowl? No.
Was he even supposed to be anywhere near this game? Also no.
People are so quick to want to “have a conversation” about players that it’s almost comical.
This kid will do what he’s done his entire life: reflect, respond, and overcome.
He will be back.
I did not have hating the Pro Football Hall of Fame on my bingo card ever but Bill
Belichick not being a 1st ballot Hall of Famer is enough to make that happen
This is when we all shoulda known Drake Maye was the future of the league
Need to add being the youngest brother and being shit talked your entire life to things you should look for in a rookie QB
