@matthewcashmore Juryless trials happen in the UK (and The Republic of Ireland) but their use is only for specific offences, but that doesn't mean they should be more widespread.
Bottom line successive Gov't have failed to do this properly and ordinary people end up suffering.
@matthewcashmore You don't have to look outside of the UK to see the dangers of streamlining the CJS just look at the Single Justice Procedure. Everyone knows it's wrong and broken but no one wants to fix it. Person with dementia not paying vehicle excise duty anyone?
@KatMerchant14 The NZ Canada semi will be a bruising encounter for both teams that may take too much out of the eventual winner. whoever ends up in that final might well be running on fumes after that encounter, whereas England might just skip past France.
@righttobikeit @GardaTraffic@SafeCyclingEire@MikeMcKillen They would probably look to speak and give words of advice to the submitter of the footage for allegedly behaving in a manner likely to cauae an officer to carry out their duty ...
@jayrayner1@limebike Managed is doing a fair bit of heavy lifting here. They simply aren't managed. Proper management costs money and these clowns aren't there for public good it's plain old greed wrapped up as an easy and fun way to get around town. These schemes shouldnt be privately run
@RDPHistory It is clearly a labour of love but as you say this platform just doesn't deserve it.
I can't help but think that with the current batah*t events on the mother side of the Atlantic I feel the timeline will be targeted by many more who seek to change the narrative.
