I am a retired teacher leaving by a lake in Ontario. I have two cats, several crafty hobbies, and memories of both three wonderful dogs and outdoor adventures.
@GrayMarker99 One day a student in my high school class raised her hand in the middle of the lesson. When I acknowledged her she said”you taught my mother” and told me her mother’s maiden name. What was I to do except say “Yes, I did.” and continue on.
@arealmofwonder When I was a teenager, struggling at a volunteer summer job, I was given a copy of this poem. It got me through things then and I have kept it close ever since.
@arealmofwonder I like rafty. That is the sort of day we are having today. I like the meaning of D, but I will never remember how to spell it and I can’t pronounce it. I will pick the joyful A. Erumpent as my word for the weekend. Thank you for the choices.
@lexisfriend@spelunky_ I really enjoy following you but I am going to have to stop unless I can figure out a way to not get all the troll posts when you comment. Please consider not engaging them. It gives them wider reach, and I would like to continue following you.
@arealmofwonder Bumbershoot has been a common word in my vocabulary since I was a young child so I am picking A. Mathom. I read Tokein years ago but don’t remember this word but can very much relate to it.
