In 2019, the @liberal_party of Canada introduced Bill C-75 to repeal section 181 of the Criminal Code, which made it a criminal defence for the media to knowingly lie to harm the reputation of an individual or entity. But they did not repeal section 300, which makes it a criminal offence for a Canadian citizen or individual to knowingly lie in order to harm another individual.

It's only a criminal act for citizens, not for the media anymore. And they claim it's because of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Obviously, it's not, or it would've applied to Canadians as well.

This is exactly when the Canadian media went rogue and far left. While our tax dollars fund them.
