Canada allows minors into drug consumption sites, but would ban access to social media.
Canadian 15-year-olds could soon face a regime disallowing Facebook use, while facing no barriers to injecting fentanyl at a government-run facility, writes Tristin Hopper https://t.co/s8rENZfczw
Fun fact:
I used a VPN & a throwaway SIM to create the twitter account that got me arrested, when I asked the police interrogator how they found me, they admitted they matched up the details of my stabbing that I posted about on the account to the police report I made. Pure evil
“I spoke Latvian today” 🇱🇻
This is the type of punishment students in the Baltic states had to endure at the end of the 19th century when the Russians were trying to eradicate national languages other than Russian
I hate doing this, asking for money, people have their own problems, but I'm homeless atm (including my sisters who are with me).
We normally have our family house to stay in, in case things got rough, but my father trashed it. Water damage, sewage, any problem you can ...
Carney has already managed to outdo his predecessor when it comes to in-flight catering during his first year in office, leaving taxpayers with a bill that amounts to a decade of groceries for the average Canadian family of four.

🚨 CANADIAN TRAVELERS: YOUR LIFE IS AT RISK 🧳 ✈️
Innocent Canadians are landing abroad and getting ARRESTED for drug smuggling… because airport insiders at @TorontoPearson are switching their luggage tags onto suitcases full of cocaine.
CTV W5 exclusive: At least 17 victims in one year. Destinations include countries where drug smuggling can mean the DEATH PENALTY.
This is the tip of the iceberg.
How is this happening inside our airports? Could it have anything to do with the airport being staffed by majority foreigners? Arrests of baggage handlers aren’t enough. First a gold heist now this! Security must be fixed NOW.
Tag everyone you know who flies.
This could happen to ANYONE. 🇨🇦

Here are some emails that I received from Molly Gore ("Pam Gibson") and Igor Vamos ("Michael Smith") as part of the "prank" show that CBC/APTN will be airing. This is how they were communicating with me
I found out recently that I was deceived by social activists in an elaborate scheme dating back to January. A production group with what I now know has a fake name and fake identities gave me a friendly interview about my book A Day with Sir John A, and about Sir John A Macdonald, back in Feb.
They connected me with a fake company called Heritage Figures Canada with a fake website and "hired" me to perform consulting work for them. We had what I now know were fake meetings, fake documents, fake commercial shoot, fake prototype of a Sir John A collectible. Then in a second filmed interview last week, they turned on me, and it was revealed to have all been a setup in order to demonize Sir John A and smear me.
It turns out this is a taxpayer-funded CBC and APTN project. There is so much more, I will make a video. They also deceived @FrancesWiddows1
@originalmace@mattgurney Amazon and e-bills. Nobody my age (mid 30's) ever gets mail anymore. I open my post box once a month, all of it goes into recycling. The only time I get something of use is tax documents, my driver's license and Medicare card.
This dynamic right here is a great illustration of why ideology is irrelevant in Canadian politics.
If it is possible for the leader of one party to steal the agenda of another party and be praised for it, what is the actual difference between the two?
This is core CPC problem.
Because the LPC controls all the key patronage levers they cannot only steal the CPC agenda, they can also poach enterprising MPs who want access to that patronage. Additionally, there is nothing that the CPC can promise voters that the LPC can’t also give them.
To cap it all off, the CPC is viewed as being “too American,” that is, tied into the base and the ideological influences that brought Donald Trump to power. This segment can be propagandized against as “bad America.” Populism is at a low ebb now in Canada. Canadians want a quiet, competent appearing manager who will make sure things run well and who stays out of the news. Neither Pierre Poilievre or anyone on the CPC bench screams, “I am so much more competent than Mark Carney that it’s imperative I be elected Prime Minister.”
Things can always happen to upset the apple cart. Never say never. But this is why CPC opposition leaders give off the aura of playing a role, of giving the perception of meaningful opposition, without the reality. They exist to support the legitimacy of the system upon which long term LPC power is built.
Once this reality is understood, we can begin to have meaningful political conversations.
