@kittysquiddy anyone in the group have thoughts on UK/Gilts? Wrote this substack a couple weeks ago, and interested to hear anyone's additional views

Just wrote a new Substack about the UK Gilt Market and why I think steepeners make sense. Any feedback and shares much appreciated!

@kittysquiddy Grew up in Edinburgh, but haven't read much into the issue. Will do so and write a brief thread later. My inclination is that JK Rowling is overreacting, but doesn't make her concerns any less frightening. What have we come to...
@kittysquiddy Also, think there is a legitimate case to be made that he doesn't want to do a winter campaign and just wants it to be over with. Tories lose regardless of next six months imo. Summer in his California home? Pretty sweet to me
@kittysquiddy All responses here seem to be missing the fact that he was beginning to lose his own party. Whispers of a vote of no confidence among Tory MPs cannot be ignored.
@ChaoticKittyAcc I will add that there is no "discussion among students" apart from with direct peer groups. The polarisation on campus is staggering, with people of opposing views totally unwilling to interact with each other. Personally, I'm terrified of voicing my opinion to unknown peers
@ChaoticKittyAcc Initially, as it wasn't interrupting everyday life at college, people had their opinions but were content to leave the encampment. However, when they turned against the student newspaper and threatened graduation, the tables turned. Sentiment very much anti now.
Encampment has now existed in Harvard Yard, the centre of all university activities, for ~12 days now. From a student's perspective, it has not directly affected my life in the slightest. At any given time there are maybe 25 students present within the encampment

@KsaPeet@katkittykit2 lmao, spent a good chunk of time discussing the CEO. "Ebixโs longtime CEO, Robin Raina, is controversial, egotistical, and dishonest."
