A tv show around just Cayde would go so fucking hard and do sooo god damn well, could even fund a New Destiny. Why they just sit around and do nothing. Nathan Fillion as Cayde in Cayde-6, Ace. Literally would do numbers like no other.

Thank you Chris for all of the unforgettable moments in Dodger Blue. Congratulations on a memorable career and we wish you the best in retirement!
Some are seeing him being alive to recreate this as inspiring, but the fact that he IS still alive shows how recent those events truly were. And yet here we are…

If a man expresses anger, he’s toxic.
If a man expresses fear, he’s a coward.
If a man expresses sadness, he’s weak.
If a man sets boundaries, he’s insecure.
If a man has standards, he’s a misogynist.
If a man expresses emotions, he’s a simp.
If a man shows no emotion, he’s heartless.
In the end you can’t win so do what is right by you, your family, and God. Nothing else matters.
A horrifying number of people have not been genuinely held, comforted, touched, or shown physical tenderness in so long that their nervous system has started adapting to affection deprivation as a normal human condition.
Over time the body begins adapting to emotional deprivation the same way it adapts to survival conditions:
hypervigilance, emotional numbing, difficulty relaxing, chronic loneliness, depression, anxiety, sleep disruption, elevated stress hormones, and eventually a nervous system that no longer fully believes comfort, softness, or safety are meant for it.
The human nervous system was never meant to survive this much emotional isolation without consequences. People are adapting to conditions they were never biologically designed to live in.
