SO very proud of this latest work to come out of our @ACCinTouch ACPC Quality Working Group. ❤ Thank you to this strong team! Please take a look at this simple algorithm for the management of pulmonary stenosis. Because the #simple stuff isn't always so simple! #CHD Let's #standardizepractice and improve #resouceutilization.

@thereidout@SimonWDC A positive convo was refreshing. Just fyi a full term pregnancy is anything after 37 weeks. Your point is still true, no one is “aborting” a baby at 39 weeks.
It’s sad when the conversation about transition to adulthood with chd turns into a conversation about which country with universal healthcare they are planning to move to. #healthcare#MedTwitter I feel like a cog in a broken wheel.
I hope Duke is supporting Rachel Richardson who traveled with her team to BYU only to be called the N word and verbally threatened. The adults failed her. Racially assaulted on the weekend and starting class tomorrow smh. The adults failed her.
@garagebeerbrew@Morning_Joe I’m still driving a 2011 Altima. My partner is driving an 08 Jetta. Living in a modest home as to not be house poor. We aren’t over here living the high life. Having empathy isn’t hard.
@slybone54 @Morning_Joe That’s a problem going forward. We should be holding colleges and universities accountable today. Many people have already paid back the principal of their original loans but are stuck because of interest rates that are high because of the greed of loan servicers.
@knickstrahm@Morning_Joe The only reason I’m paying the principle of my original loans now is because of the pause in interest during Covid where I have continued to pay every month. I think there is a woeful lack of understanding of how the finance industry is abusing borrowers. We are all working hard
@knickstrahm@Morning_Joe Same here. I received nothing from this. But my patients, coworkers, kids teachers etc absolutely did. And that makes my life better.
@knickstrahm@Morning_Joe No. 10,000 should be a pittance to the same pple who are ignoring companies and individuals who received multiple times that in PPP loans and tax breaks. 10,000 is huge for the families dragging along that debt. I’m so happy for them.
@slybone54 @Morning_Joe And I’m sorry you may think this is unfair. I personally think so much of being an adult in 2022 is unfair. I’m glad some people are going to benefit from this. For those pple, this 10,000 is life changing.
@garagebeerbrew@Morning_Joe Mind you, This doesn’t even help me. I’m happy for all of the teachers, social workers, and people who had to drop out of school just dragging around debt while millionaires get PPP loans and tax breaks.
@garagebeerbrew@Morning_Joe Med school, and as a pediatric provider the general public has no idea how much doctors make. Not to mention housing, childcare, and every other aspect of life is exponentially more expensive for me than my also pediatrician dad.
